I was just having that silly thinking about what song themes fit each one of them best...you guys give ur opinion, i'm not good at names and bands at all

Rorschach - Street Fighting Man - Rolling Stones - I know it's V's credits song, but I can't help

Laurie - American Girl - Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers

Dan - Working Class Man - Jimmy Barnes

Comedian - All Along the Watchtower - Bob Dylan

Adrian - The Logical Song - Supertramp or...

...Walking like an egyptian - The Bangles...hehehe just kidding...

Manhattan - The Man Who Sold the World - David Bowie

For Veidt, I'm thinking EVE OF DESTRUCTION.

"Don’t you understand what I’m tryin’ to say? Can’t you feel the fears I’m feelin’ today? If the button is pushed, there’s no runnin’ away. There’ll be no one to save, with the world in a grave ... I’m sitting here just contemplatin' ... You may leave here for four days in space, but when you return, it’s the same old place … over and over again, my friend: you don’t believe we’re on the eve of destruction?"

This post will probably be edited a dozen times or more, but anyway these are the first I thought of. I tried not to focus only on the titles or lyrics, but also the atmosphere of the songs.

Comedian : Search And Destroy (Iggy & The Stooges) - This one fits perfectly, don't even try to find a better one. No, I said don't try ! You're trying, I see you !

Dr. Manhattan : Across The Universe (The Beatles) - Nothing's gonna change his world, indeed.

Rorschach : One Hundred Years (The Cure) - "It doesn't matter if we all die..."

Nite Owl II : Only Love Can Break Your Heart (Neil Young)

Silk Spectre II : Material Girl (Madonna) - Yeah, that one sucks, it doesn't fit at all, I just didn't find anything good...

Ozymandias : I Am The Resurrection (The Stone Roses)

Across the Universe would sound pretty idylic to Doc while he crosses Mars' surface, don't u think? it gives a real solitude and bittersweetness feeling

Yep ! And Eve Of Destruction is originally performed by Barry MgGuire. You can also find a cover by The Pretty Things.

I love that song, but it just doesn't fit Dr. Manhattan. He doesn't have multiple personalities. . .

For The Comedian, the only one I could think of is Woke up this Morning (The Sopranos theme song).

is that because ozymandias is a a man of wealth and taste or because some people assume he's 'borderliningly satanistic'? (which is something i see no reason to)

Its more because he is portrayed as the villian of the piece, for whom I have a certain sympathy.....Plus he is a man of wealth and taste :)

80's style (of course)!

Comedian: Bruce Springsteen - Born in the U.S.A. - My obvious ironic choice.
Nite Owl: A Flock of Seagulls - I Ran - Conveys his relationship with Laurie.
Silk Spectre: Belinda Carlisle - Heaven is a Place on Earth - Really only for one or two lines.
Doc Manhattan: Cyndi Lauper - Time after Time - Who doesn't love Cyndi?
Ozymandias: Tears for Fears - Everybody Wants to Rule the World - The lyrics eeeeerily reflect Adrian's plan.*
Rorschach: Talking Heads - Burning Down the House - Come on, it's fun!

* I actually picked this one as a joke until I analyzed the lyrics and was then humbled by my subconscious 80's genius.

Hate to break it to you, but that's not Alanis Morissette, it's Merideth Brooks. The person who uploaded it had them mixed up.

I can just hear Stairway to Heaven play as Dr. Manhattan levitates on Mars.

Hm... the only one I come up with so far would be One Vision by Queen for Ozymandias.
The first verse fits him perfectly if you ask me and the whole theme of the song (uniting the world) works as well.

Difficult - hmmm. Ok here it goes:

Nite Owl II: Somebody to Love - Queen
Silk Spectre II: Man Eater - Hall and Oats
Ozymandias: I Want it All - Queen (or even Princes of the Universe)
Dr. Manhattan: Across the Universe - Beatles (good call on that one)
Rorschach: Wherever I May Roam - Metallica
Comedian: Don't Tread on Me - Metallica (Maybe even Revolution is My Name by Pantera)

Just the first songs the popped into my head. I wanted to fit War by Edwin Starr in there somewhere, but I couldn't quite match it up with anyone.
