I was trying to respond to a post in another thread, when I was told I needed to sign in first. But I already was signed in, my name clearly at the top of the screen. So I had to sign in again. Any reason this might happen?

Yes. This will happen occasionally.

Every so often, I need to empty the session data in the forum's database. If I don't do this from time to time, the table fills up with data, and any new members who try to register get an SQL error and cannot set up new accounts.

Not quite sure where to put this... and didn't want to start a new thread...
I have an image saved on my desktop that I want to put in my sig. I uploaded it to a free image hosting website... and when i highlighted the link to the image and designated it as a image using the toolbar above the posts... it didn't work... saying that it was impossible to determine the dimensions of the image. Is there a better way to get an image on my desktop onto my sig?

It seems to work...are you sure you weren't linking to the preview page on imageshack?

Use this:
Code:
