History shows that in most conflicts, the crazier side usually wins. Twihards vs. Twihaters appears to be no exception.
Or maybe it's just that the subject of Twilight brings out the worst in people. I dunno. It seems that Twihards and Twihaters are equal parts crazy... Perhaps if Robert Patterson (or whatever the fuck his name is) just needs to make an announcement to all the fangirls on how he really feels on the subject: IT FUCKING SUCKS! But this makes me want to go back to the psychiatric hospital...

Lady_Rorschach wrote: But this makes me want to go back to the psychiatric hospital... Hurm.... No author listed, only "Bluewater Productions." *Google* Okay, I've found their website. Let's see what we've got here. Well, to be fair, it appears that they've done a similar comic regarding one J.K. Rowling. Then again, they gave G.W. Bush a bio comic as well. In fictional works, I'm seeing adaptations of stories from William Shatner, Ray Harryhausen and... what's this? *squints* " Plan 9 from Outer Space... Strikes Again." Uh... two comics ("Legend of Isis" and "Tenth Muse") have film options, both have gone nowhere. Conclusion: We're looking at some tasteless and creatively bankrupt company looking to make a quick buck. A fitting partner for Stephanie Meyer, if she indeed consented to this project at all.

Those aren't especially good reasons to like it but I actually laughed at the comic.

Not strictly twilight related, but I watched 1 ep of True Blood because everyone was talking about it. Completely over rated. 18 cert Twilight.
Anyone looking forward to Wolfman, I read somewhere it looked promising?
NEW MOON IS UPON US SOON. God help me my sister is going to the opening 00:01 showing on morning of release.

I really do not like Twilight either. I havn't read the books, but the diehard, obsessive fans really get on my nerves. I prefer the Underworld trilogy to Twilight, and thats saying something. I just really don't get the appeal of it. Though then again, people will just say the same thing about Watchmen, except theres not loads of us, theres millions of Twilight fans. To respond to the above post, I think The Wolfman looks very good. I'm not really into Werewolves and Vampires, but it looks amazing. Have high hopes for it.

grrrooooaaaaannnn I made a bet with my gf a couple of weeks ago. If I get the job that I want, I will buy her tickets for the premiere of New Moon (she absolutely hates the movies, but she wants to take me with her). Today I got a call and they said me that I should start next week. ...fuck.

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/20 ... rt-contestThis makes sense, because Twilight and MGS have a lot in common. They both have vampires, and wolves, and...vampires?

This makes sense, because Twilight and MGS have a lot in common. They both have vampires, and wolves, and...vampires? I'm sure it's because Hideo Kojima is such a fan of Stephanie Meyer's work. Out of curiosity: What would a Twilight book, written by Hideo Kojima, be like? Other than being leagues better than anything Meyer could put out.

Well, I must admit that I've never played an MGS game (heresy, I know). But based on what I know of the games, I'm guessing that each book would be roughly a thousand pages long, depicting increasingly convoluted fantasy tropes and love triangles with bits of humor sprinkled throughout. Also, there would be one irrefutably badass vampire surrounded by nitwit colleagues and the vampire vs. werewolf feud would be a full-blown war.
