Nothing wrong with a bit of style over function, especially when it's not like the armour would hinder him, also, if it was lead armour it could protect him from kryptonite

I should also point out that if it's Kryptonian armor (which I admit is unlikely in this case), that would actually make some degree of sense. After all, Kryptonians were perfectly vulnerable to bullets and blades on their home planet.

My point was, it would only take one artist to draw it (or one writer to describe it) for it to be so the next time the look of krypton is rebooted.

Nobody, NOBODY in Hollywood does "rage binges" as well as Pacino, that's a huge advantage, which Jackman himself, has admitted is still lacking in the movie version of the character.
