So it's not a big deal or anything but it's driving me crazy.

The very top of my computer screen is cut off by about half an inch and it's stuck like that. I don't even know how it happened. I tried to find a solution through google but I couldn't so go to it.

Thanks in advance.

chainsaw accident?

what type of monitor is it? if it is TFT it will probably be a resolution problem, if it is an old CRT it's more likely to be something has gone wrong with the monitor's built in stretch/locate settings.

I know this sounds really obvious but there should be a menu button on your monitor which allows you to adjust the positioning of the screen. Model of screen?

yeah that's what i meant about the built in stretch options, i probably wasn't clear, my mind went blank on how to describe them.

Yeah, that's probably it but I'm so inept with computers that I don't know where to find that. I tried right clicking and then looking in properties but nada.

Edit: I figured it out shortly after posting this once I realized you literally meant on the monitor. Somehow, the vertical setting got ramped up from 50 to 73 and I fixed it.

Thanks for the feedback. Couldn't have done it without you. *hands out medals* Chewbacca doesn't get one, though.
