Actually, I was going to use my parent's tax return.
Or at least half.
Which was around $5000.
What did happen was, after a huge fight we had, my Dad decided that because I lived at home, didn't have a job, and wasn't planning on college, he wasn't going to finance the short film anymore.
So all I didn't even get to buy the camera I wanted.
But I wrote a short treatment, drew a bunch of storyboards, and in the end I got depressed cause all I ended up being was a dreamer with lots of talk. Someone who got over 30 people to contact him through craigslist to be in the movie, and had to turn each and every one away with some fancy ass story about how my funding got pulled.

I'm not even going to touch this, if we talked about this issue in the future, we would discover ANOTHER layer to this story, and then, you would be once again "admitting" something that didn't happen at all in the first place.

I don't know what to tell you. But I'm not lying.

Then why not say this up-front ? Why not say you didn't remember them in the first place ?

You took me up on the challenge, and now that you've failed, you back away by telling me you just can't remember them ? How convenient.

Well guess what, I read all those issues ONCE as well, also around A YEAR ago, and I can perfectly give you a decent synopsis of Kitchen Irish, Up Is Down Black Is White, Man Of Stone, Mother Russia and Barracuda; and those are just off the top of my head.

That's exactly that what you're doing.

Maybe Smutty and AYB weren't so wrong after all.

I'm so tired of this.
I don't have anything else to admit.
You're so hellbent on picking me apart I'm suprised you didn't pick up arms when AYB did it too.
I'm not lying about anything.
All I said was I've read them.
I remember some about Man of Stone, but when was it that this test or whatever had clearly defined parameters?
I told you I've read them all.
I stand by that.

And I didn't tell you guys the whole thing about the Punisher film because I thought it'd sound lame that I'd be using my parent's money. There is no other layer. It didn't happen. I got embaressed.

I don't know why i didn't say that up-front.
I should've. But didn't.
And I'm not backing away.
I said I don't remember all of them.
As in not all of each mini.

Joseph.

Don't devalue this forum with lies.

I don't give a single frack about which comics you've read, what I care, is about you being sincere enough to say:

"Nah, I haven't read the MAX stuff yet, still, I think it would be pretty awesome to mix Venom and The Punisher".

Instead, you try again to pull the "cool kid" bullshit act again, fail miserably, and then try to save face when you didn't need to in the first place.

He's probably read them.

But I HAVE read them.
The only thing I tried to save face about was not remembering alot of it.
I tried to play your game, and at that I failed.
But I HAVE read them.

I have to be reminded about a lot of things when it comes to tv shows and comic book series. It's not very farfetched.

He's just saying for the most part, I look more like I'm lying because I didn't just out and say I don't remember instead of trying to play his test.

Seems like a rather petty argument to me.

It's not really even an argument, it's more like a bad recreation of a scene from The Crucible...

When I told him about my "test", he agreed, when he realized he couldn't answer properly, as clearly evidenced by his responses, he proceeded to back out and say he wasn't going to be able to remember, that it had been a year ago, that he liked some more than others, etc. An answer he could've clearly given when I first asked:

Me: "So Nitey, want to play game?"

NiteOwl: "Uhm.....I don't know if I'll........pass"

But no, he went confidently thinking he was up for it, and his only "proof" that he wasn't lying his soul off was that he had it on his computer.

I always appreciate your attempts at peacekeeping, but the problem isn't going away, NiteOwl still lies when it suits him.

That was a really boring play to read. I didn't care at all that the author was pissed at HUAC for questioning him, at least the Daniel Day-Lewis film made it a little better.

Plays generally are boring to read, simply because they are designed to be performed, not read.

No, people still think I lie when I can't prove I'm not.
I'm not saying I've earned your guys trust or anything,
but its fucking comic books.
Why in the hell would I need to lie about that?
So what I didn't pass your test? But I didn't lie.

No contest. Lego Batman 2.

I just do not like games set up like Marvel Heroes.
Like DC Universe Online?
There were some cool aspects, but it just... sucked.
So did those X-Men Legends games they had.
Only not so much. Those were moderately fun.
I prefer my superhero games like Batman Arkham Asylum/City and Spider-Man 2.

Also, I'm stoked for the new Spider-Man movie tie in.

Don't lie to us, you've never played a video game!!!!! You probably don't even realize video games are a thing, you're just pretending!

On a serious note... I have been itching for Lego Batman 2 for quite some time... my body is ready and my spirit is willing.
