I was also pondering "Dr. Manhattan vs. The Saint of Killers" and I'd like to get Scott Pilgrim in a match somehow.

Obviously Thanos against The Punisher is an unfair match, but the idea about powerless heroes is that they compensate enough to deceive or trick those who are more powerful than them, Batman is one of the prime examples, along with John Constantine.

Where were all the "powers vs. Non powers=powers win" when Cap got "beat" by Batman? Cap has above average human EVERYTHING, yet he apparently got beat.

Powers don't always mean victory. I'm sure That Bats would have taught Robin some stuff to beat Kitty (like Cable does to disable her in Ultimate X #76 [I think])

So I think we need to establish before we get too far into this... do they have time to prepare or not?

I vote for giving them time to prepare, let them be at their best.

In that case, Robin would still get his/her ass handed to him/her, to understand --> read the second line after quoting.

Would you guys say Brock Lesnar doesn't deserve his wins because he has a coach? Did Ali cheat because he got pointers? Did the saints steal the Superbowl because they have a bunch of guys on the sidelining pointing things out?

It's a pipe dream to think that Ozymandias could ever win. It's not even close. Wolverine has a healing factor and adamantium godamn claws. Not to mention his skeleton. Veidt's head would be on the floor before you could even say psychic squids.

but that's exactly what ozymandias would have to his advantage! he would teleport a fifth-dimensional cephalopod and that would make wolverine go insane. if it was the film version, he would just teleport a jonbomb which would completely eradicated wolverine.

I think Kitty would win. Her power makes it difficult for a non-mutant to fight her. However, I could have sworn that she can only phase for as long as she can hold her breath, as she can't breath while phasing....I don't know if that would change anything, but it seems interesting to think about. If Robin could find some strange situation to use that as an advantage....
