Today in my Marketing class we actually had a conversation about how certain brands and styles are "hipster" styles.

I would like to apologize to Lil' Bernie because they were lashing out at him and making a a personal attack.

I would like to apologize the world for how easy it is for Brooklyn to misinterpret pretty much everything and come off as a moron.

I'm sorry, Planet Earth.

How clever.

Also, I do get it. You think I'm making sweeping generalizations about a subculture that are innaccurate. By targeting a clothing item that is non sub culture specific I'm not actually referrng to hipsters, I'm pretty much referring to every sub group, and you.

Furthermore you doubt that I've ever actually met a hipster and I'm just using an internet buzword for a group that a lot of people don't like to describe every sngle person I don't like, whether I have any proof they are hipsters or not, and more likely than not they aren't hipsters because I have no idea what I'm talking about. Is that about right?

Fixed.

I disliked hipsters before everyone else did.

Elaine once called Kramer an 'ageing hipster'.

That's me, right there.

We've discussed this before. She calls him a "stupid hipster dufus": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBOcjnCY9f0

Yup, she does.

But there's also an earlier episode where she calls him an ageing hipster. I remember it clearly. Unless all the mary-jane, late nights, cheap red wine and strange turkish cigarettes have somehow messed with my powers of recall...

I'm almost positive that she doesn't. I know my Seinfeld. I think originally it was Kramer's girlfriend who broke up with him and called him a hipster doofus. Elaine then calls him that in a later episode.

Mmmm, I'm almost certain I recall Elaine and Kramer slinging quiet insults at each other, and her ageing hipster comment making him shudder, but short of trawling through here
http://www.seinfeldscripts.com/seinfeld-scripts.html
I don't have a snowball's chance in hell of being sure.

Anyways, my mid-90's hipster band from Auckland, New Zealand will be releasing our retrospective 'Worst Of' C.D. next month, I'll make sure and plug it in these pages. I'll show these youngsters how we used to freeze-out squares back in the day...

Fun fact! The "hipster doofus" line came from the Atlantic Monthly review of the show.

This is essentially how I see hipster haters.

Too be honest I'd say that the neckbeard guy is the hipster in this instance

I wouldn't be too sure about the picture's accurate representation of "hipster haters".

But that is certainly Brooklyn's case with his Knives Chau.

Also they're both wrong, there's been five robins if you count Stephanie.
