So you think it's okay to refer to people as "pond scum" ?

Yeah, if you think that they're douchebags.

No smutty, you don't get it, because Miller and Feli disagree it's wrong to call someone a name, but it's okay to say they deserve f-bombs and are ignorant.

I agree with what he said, I disagree with how he said it

In a way it's almost a surreal insult, who honestly calls other people pond scum? It just doesn't happen

But I'm probably going to start

Ah yes, the V for Vendetta/occupy movement. Going quite well, if a tad peaceful for system-smashing. Still, A. Moore would approve, i'm sure.

Dial up the anarchy, lads and lassies!

They should just change it to the Whinge movement, because all it seems to be is a Whinge On Wallstreet, and anywhere else they've given the Occupy tag to.

Indeed. All that energy to summon and stay... dissipated due to lack of focus and motivation. No target, no action. It seems to embody why the modern western populace is so easily taken advantage of when the sheep can rise, become a mob... then have a quiet camp-out.

Ah yes, calling people pond scum. The character growth of a decent and mature person.

He's referring to the ladybug.

And I've been such a buzzkill lately because this month's been pretty rough.

Also, you shouldn't call people pond scum.

Dude, when did AYB start using ziller's account? If you saw the rest of my post I was talking abou thow it's not a very good insult because it's so surreal, lighten up.

Also, Smutty's comment of it being comparable to douchebags kind of shows that it's just an insult, and if you're actually trying to insult somebody... it works.

I try to remember what was it about "The Hard Goodbye" and "A Dame To Kill For" that, according to Neil Gaiman, was clear-cut evidence that Frank Miller had already lost it 10 years ago.

And I can't find any, whatever misadventures Marv and Dwight had, I don't think it has any similarities with Holy Terror or even 300, it's almost as if the Sin City comics came from a completely different author.

Well to be honest, Miller does Neo Noir comcis as good as just about anybody, historical and political... not so much.

So i was thinking about this some more, had an outspoken liebral comic book writer come out and called the 1% pond scum would this even be a news piece?

Maybe I am completely oblivious to the whole "Look up, now look at me" joke, but it's starting to get old.

It's stupid because it implies the media picks on conservatives for no reason and a liberal probably wouldn't call protestors pond scum in the first place.

you didn't read the question  I said if a liberal called the 1% pondscum.

And you don't think there's even a little bais in the media? How many anti-rape tents were put up at tea party rallies? Arrests? Rapes? thefts? The only incident people cite is when a guy showed up with a gun that he had a permit for and that he has a constitutional right to have.
