Indeed we do my brother 8-)

Shame that Robin and Nightwing are only available for challenge maps, but hey, we still get some Catwoman missions on the story mode. Plus it looks like there´s going to be episodic dlc, so maybe we will get some Bat-family action.

Youtube videos time!

Hugo Strange trailer:

Penguin trailer:

Riddler trailer:

And while they haven´t been given trailers, we are going to get also Deadshot, Calendar Man, Black Mask, Talia Al Ghul, Poison Ivy(as part of Catwoman´s arc), Solomon Grundy and Bane. And theses are just the confirmed ones.

Some non-character focused trailers, including the launch trailer:

Okay so I played this for about an hour last night.
The intro is fucking awesome, it's like a cinematic tutorial almost, The Creeper, Hugo Strange, Penguin, Catwoman and Two-Face are all introduced pretty early on, the environment is kind of free-roam and you can alternate missions, and there is also an xp system. I've gone past a few recognisable buildings like ACE Chemicals and the Olympus, and also now you can use smoke pellets which is awesome.
Unfortunately I couldn't access any dlc as since I got the game earlier than I was meant to they hadn't actually put the shit out on the psn yet, but hopefully tonight or tomorrow night I will be able to report on the Catwoman parts.

Work gives me no time to do fun things for a long amount of time any more.

I assumed something like that would've kept you from playing more.

Just yesterday I broke my own record on longest playing time of any videogame, 8 hours straight of pure Mass Effect 2 goodness.

Last record was 7 hours straight with Bioshock !

The DLC codes still aren't working, which is annoying, especially considering that it's possible that I've missed Catwoman parts due to being unable to get the DLC.

you might want to consider starting from scratch when you get the catwoman stuff, I think it was the IGN review that said that the catwoman DLC changes the game from the beginning and you won't get the benefit unless you start a new game after downloading it.

Well maybe I'll just have to play through twice, because there's no way I'm gonna start again.
In fact it's fucking weak that the DLC isn't up yet even though the game has been out for more than 24 hours, and there's DLC that changes the game from the beginning that even people who have the code aren't able to use because of PSN's unprofessionalism in this matter.
So I'm gonna actually formally complain.

maybe you should actually,

you'll probably want to play it through twice anyway, because of the new game plus thing.

http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/119/1199706p2.html there is the bit i mentioned about

Quote:
Leading up to Batman: Arkham City, Rocksteady talked a lot about the Catwoman missions in the game -- that 10 percent of Arkham City was all about Selina Kyle. Well, it turns out that content isn't included on the disc. If you buy the game new, it comes with a one-time use code to download the Catwoman content. Used copies will most likely have the code snatched up and you'll need to buy the DLC off Xbox Live or the PlayStation Store.

If I can give you some advice, download and install the Catwoman missions before starting the game. Her four story missions, inserted throughout Batman: Arkham City, are a fun (albeit simple) change of pace, and literally change the opening of the game. I downloaded her stuff after beating the game the first time, and the integrated Catwoman stuff during my New Game Plus playthrough was way more enjoyable than just tackling her missions off the main menu. This is downloadable content that expands the mythos of the game as you're playing it. It explains events that are happening off camera.

Outside of the four missions, the Catwoman DLC gives you challenge maps for the feline and the ability to get the special Catwoman Riddler Trophies in Arkham City.

I FUCKIN' LOVE THIS GAME!

I didn't have any trouble downloading the Catwoman stuff. I downloaded the character before I even played the game and she IS involved really early in the game....

The smoke pellets are awesome. So are the on demand bats  But you need to have a minimum of 3x combo before summoning them.

I bought it midnight last night and only played campaign for an hour or so then played a few challenges before going to bed. Stupid work does get in the way of my me time. Anyway, i'm about to have dinner then play some more :D

The reason you didn't have any trouble is because the game didn't come out two days earlier than the official release date in your country

Downloading Catwoman before starting a game doesn't really change the storyline too much. Just saying. All she does is steal a safe, then you as the player have to take out a few henchmen, and then she's captured and about to be executed by Two-Face. The whole thing isn't really long.

So I've finally gotten a chance to continue playing. I'm up to the part where I need to find mister freeze, and on my way there I saw someone standing on a ferris wheel, I went up there, and it was Azrael (I'm pretty positive it was him anyway) and he was like "I'll be watching you Batman" or something.
