I'm up to the part where I need to find mister freeze, and on my way there I saw someone standing on a ferris wheel, I went up there, and it was Azrael (I'm pretty positive it was him anyway) and he was like "I'll be watching you Batman" or something.

Really ? Just standing there ?

Yeah and he throws smoke and disappears

Penguin in this seems a lot more evil and sinister and far less noble than his comic book counterpart.

How dare they mess with a much-loved character that we want to stay exactly as he was in his first iteration, don't dilute or offer a new take on the original version of... oh, sorry, i thought I was posting in the Watchmen Prequels thread.

So I've come across a side-mission where someone who looks like Bruce Wayne has been killing people and leaving their bodies faceless with bandages wrapped around their heads.
OMG HUSH

I dunno, not real long. I was finally able to get the catwoman stuff this morning.
Also, something cool I saw is near crime alley there's a building and on it is the logo for that evil company owned by christopher walken in Batman Returns

awesome

apparently Rocksteady do not have the rights to make another batman game after this, along with the fact that Mark Hamill isn't voicing the Joker any more after this game, what do you think is the future of Batman games? maybe they want to get back into doing movie tie-ins?

I came across the sidemission where a political prisoner asks me for help. I (Batman) barely started asking questions and the man was shot. I traced the trajectory of the shot and found the bullet autographed by Deadshot. Now I gotta find and kick his ass, I suppose. But i'm stuck! All I know is i've got to ask around for his whereabouts... but who do I ask? I don't know.

I have a 5 day weekend ahead and I finally will be able to put some serious hours into the game. Currently, i'm in search for Mr. Freeze.

After the Joker knocks out Batman early in the game, the story switches back to Catwoman. I picked up weapons at her apartment and went in search of Poison Ivy. I beat up about 4 waves of her henchmen before being caught and hung upside down just like in the beginning of the game. After that, the story switches back to Batman waking up and Joker tells him he's been poisoned and needs to get a hold of the only known cure. Which Mr. Freeze has, apparently...

I have a question: I ran into a hooded man who told me he'll be watching me and left behind some type of clue on the floor. Can anyone tell me who he is? It's been a long while since i've read any comics and i'm just curious. He was dressed in white and had a red hooded cape.

Rocksteady was bought by WB, so while there aren´t any rights per se, WB has a lot of faith on Rocksteady, so if they wanted they could do another.

As to Hamill, he didn´t want to do Arkham City because he tought that Rocksteady couldn´t top Arkham Asylum . But the he saw that he was wrong. Maybe the same will happen again.

As to the future of Batman games, Rocksteady is thinking about giving a go at another DC hero( who is anybodys guess) to avoid people getting saturated of Batman(2 games in 2 years), but the WB guys already said that movie tie-in games were bad bussiness and they won´t pursuit that stuff.

Azrael.

You know, I've been playing since yesterday, and I have to say, I'm really shocked. I thought it would be impossible to top Asylum. But this left me spechless. It's incredible. I just fought Freeze and now I'm searching for the Joker. I'm only playing just the main missions, and overall, I've done a 12% of the game. This will be a hard game to get the platinum trophy.

Yup. Deadshot.

I get distracted really easy, so I keep going off to do side missions and when I see a new character I kind of flail in excitement. As for the main game, I also just defeated Freeze and am on my way towards Joker.

I'm surprised to have found that I really like Freeze. I hadn't given him much thought but when he finally got on screen I was impressed. I really liked his character design, both in and out of the suit. (That funky under-armor-keeps-me-alive suit was really neat. It reminded me of Tron a little bit because of the glowing.) Also, the way he sounds like an average, sad person out of the suit, as compared to the typical mechanical Freeze voice when in it, was a really nice touch.

Anyway, I'm having some trouble figuring out how to get the Riddler's steel enclosed trophies, the ones scattered across the city. I'm unsure as to whether I've gotten the right equipment for them yet. I know some of the pressure switches you can throw Batarangs at and then you get about ten seconds to....I'm assuming snatch the trophy or find the next switch, but I always run out of time before I can tell.

I suppose I'll just have to play more and report back, as well as try to investigate more into the Riddler's hostages.

P.S. Me (while finishing the Save Freeze Arc at the Museum and our icy little friend suddenly appears from the depths): La la la la la la la--AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! HOLY FUCK WHY?! WHERE IS THE BAT SHARK REPELANT WHEN YOU NEED IT?!

I scared my dad with my screaming. *hangs head in shame*

My favourite side-mission so far has been the Mad Hatter one, and I am currently up to the room you go to after protocol ten starts.
There have been many subtle hints to favourite obscure storylines and characters that I love, and even the names of the trophies are great (I'm guessing not only did Dini write this but he also named the trophies, because they have a dini flare)

You know, I would love to see a SW game with the same amount of love than this game has. The Mad Hatter was really awesome, but really hard, specially in the Hardest difficulty (doing it because it's very much like Asylum in the combat).

So I just finished the main story. This felt waaaaaaaaaay shorter than Asylum. Also, sit through the credits for a delicious treat from Luke Skywalker himself in the second half of the credits.
