If what I've read is correct, you regain the comrade you left behind on Virmire.
(not sure if it's totally Spoileriffic but not taking chances.)

"Bring Down The Sky" is amazing as far as DLC goes. I love the Batarians, they're such cranky evil bastards.

I dumped Kaidan, so I could have some poontang at the end of the game with Ashley. And I didn't kill Wrex, persuaded him. Kinda stupid, but hey, so be it.

Never did dload Bring Down The Sky, not into spending money on that. Only time I bought MS points was for the GTA IV expansion pack.

[NOTE: Turns out there was a short-lived Mass Effect thread previously. Not to worry, I'll merge it. --"Curiosity Inc."]

Right now don´t really have the time to create an humongous first post about the universe of games, comic books and novels , and don´t really know if anyone beside me and Feli will apreciate it, but fuck it, there it goes.

Let me start by saying that my body was born ready for Alan Rickman.

And follow that up by saying my soul was meant for ME3.

Of course it's being released around my busiest time so far in this semester.

PLEASE

If you're going to spoil, then MAKE SURE you put a warning please, I may not be getting it in a few months (need a new TV).

So what did you guys think of the ending?
I thought it was suitably dramatic that Shepard should die.
I am of course trolling feli. But then again, maybe that's the way the game'll end for me if I suck at it.

Spoil what bro? Atleast to the best of my knowledge I don´t see any spoilers. But then again if you are seeing something, don´t tell me. Then I´m just very sorry.

Dude...in the future, when the game comes out, I don't think I'll get it March 6th, even though I certainly want to

First off, on the subject inadvertedly spoiling you, these games are ripe with variables, so some scenes may or may not happen. That being most of it is shit we know/knew would happen somewhere along the line...

And I´m getting the collectors edition on the 6th, but it´s gonna cost me as all hell. Fucking retailers in Portugal decide not to bring the 360 version of the N7, so I´m using an import outfit.

And if it is about the tv, unless it´s all fucked up, screw that. Mass Effect was never about graphics. Shit, I use a 10 year old pc monitor on my 360 and I don´t give a fuck.

Gameplay and story trump graphics everyday.

What you can do is hook up your 360 to your pc monitor with the vga cable from microsoft.

First off, a small correction. ME3 only comes out on my country on the 9th. European release date.

That being said, hey, some time ago I entertained the tought of buying an new monitor, a 1080p ready one. Those are affordable, and it would give more life to the games, no doubt. But the 360 only renders up until 720p, so a monitor that goes up until 1280x1024 does the trick, so I said to myself" I you are gaming for the graphics, a console is the wrong move", and then figured "Fuck it, was never a graphics whore when I had a pc, not gonna do that in a console". When I buy a new console, I´ll buy a monitor that can render the standard of the console, but assuming there a new xbox appears in 2013/2014, that shit will only happen around 2015/2016, or maybe later if it isn´t that reliable.

As to your predicament, fuck televisions, fuck pc monitors. If it´s the same tv that played ME1 and ME2, it didn´t hinder your enjoyment. If it´s a question of a faulty tv, try to get hold a VGA cable for the 360. That being said, the question is your pc sound system.Headphones, speakers or built in columns?

The problem was that I was DESPERATE to play ME 2, I just couldn't take it and I went and used a 20 year old TV to play the game, loved it, but once I tested it on my mom's 40'' LED TV, I kinda made a vow to never return to the shitty TV.

I'm not sure about using a computer monitor, I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop with 1440x900 resolution that has served me well through the years, but the sound isn't exactly top notch, it might degrade in the more.....epic...scenes.

How do I find out if it's 1080p or 720p by the way ?

Shit bro, that´s above 720p. You are on HD turf. That being said, I understand your vow. That´s one of the reasons why I don´t change. Because whern you go high quality, you don´t go back.

That being said, I was talking about a stand alone pc monitor. Don´t trally know if the VGA cable can link to a laptop.

Most answers have a lot of ifs...

It´s like this:

Me, I use a monitor and for sound a Turtle Beach X11 headphones.

It has been indeed a long journey.

Which at the same time baffles my mind as to why Bioware would FUCK OVER the people who have been with them since the first Mass Effect :|

That face import bug ? No joke man, no joke.

You still give a fuck about that?
The ability to change the character's appearance was retarded in the first place. You're not playing as yourself, you're playing as a pre-written character.
To be honest I kind of feel that if some people are experiencing this bug, they got what they deserved. Live with the glitched appearance and move on.

What an asshole.

I can fully agree that there is a healthy degree of tendencies that Shepard leans to, regardless of how the player plays the game, which is much more noticeable in the sequels. But what was offered, from the first Mass Effect, was a role-playing game like any other, with customization options for appearence, inventory, and with player-controlled character development.

To say that people "got what they deserved" because the developers fucked up a major feature that has been promoted to death, which shouldn't have passed the testing phase, is a truly grandiose demonstration in complete idiocy.
