http://www.giantbomb.com/news/the-morta ... game/4182/

There's a couple of videos in that link that sort of give a clue on what the game is about.

My opinion ? Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

But I wanted to know what you guys think.

I really dislike the concepts of games like this...

for example Harley Quinn vs. Wonder Woman... yeah, that fight would last more than 3 seconds...

Obviously there will be "trump cards" for certain characters, Batman has a noticeable "armor" of sorts which is most likely a deterrent to characters with Super-Strength, Harley Quinn will have something like that as well.

Nobody with half a neuron pits Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman in a fight, as they are with no changes whatsoever, and thinks of it as an even match

so basically the sequel to MK Vs DC but without the MK characters? i hope they beef up the roster to MK9 size though, which was 26 characters, plus DLC.
pretty cool I guess, but I agree about the balancing, like you could beat Superman or Captain Marvel with Catwoman or The Joker in MK vs DC.... what's up with that?

I second this.
But most likely a friend will buy it. So I can get all my curiosity out at their place.

Well, there was some "dimension distorsion effect" that was screwing up with Superman and Shazam's vibes, while making characters like The Joker far stronger, it was still bullshit, but it wasn't frowned away at least.

In this game however, it seems like, from looks alone, Batman has some sort of "armor" which doesn't seem like the regular suit.

As for Harley Quinn and other non-powered characters, I can barely guess at what they will cook up ...

And granted, I've been edgy for a while now due to stuff in my home life.
So that may be coming out on here and such.

get a punching bag

I had something like that, but the ceiling couldn't support the weight and a huge chunk of it came down.
So...
also, apparently closet doors make horrible punching bags.

So I stick to...
FIGHTING GAMES! :D
and now we're back on topic.

It's funny to me because the phrase "right up your alley" doesn't do justice to how much this game is made to your tastes.

And yet, you "agree" with a statement that contradicts pretty much everything you say about every movie:

"Who cares ? If it's fun it's worth it !"

Ugh.
Theres so much wrong with this I'm not even going to touch it.

First of all, I've said this about CERTAIN movies.
Its not my damn motto.

Secondly, I hated MK vs DC.
And this looks like alot more of the same.

And please... this is not suited to my tastes.

I like Mortal Kombat because its gory and I love the characters.
I do not like typical fighting games.
Ones that have charater creation get a hall pass, cause I love that.

But if you knew my tastes, you'd know I'd take a shooter or a sandbox game over this any day.
Geez.

WB milking the MK franchise while milking DC characters. Hope it crashes and burns. Just give more money to Rocksteady so that we can get another Batman game...

I think "Gotham" (the next logcial progression) would be a great and breathtaking game to play.
Having said that, we've had two rock solid Batman outings.
Who's ready to see 'Metropolis' instead?

Nah, I still want to see Rocksteady do a Joker-free Batman game, then they can do Supes, or better yet Justice League. Just imagine that....

I doubt they will.
Joker was like... the fuck-all end-all of their promo scheme pretty much.
Joker sells.
Bottom line.

I'm not saying a batman game can't exist well without Joker.
But if they want a sure-in way for the game to sell... Joker.
DLC's are irrelevant because the core game still had Joker. The game itself already sold.

But I'm' all for a Joker free batman game.

I'm also totally happy with Arkham Asylum and Arkham City back to back.
Between both games,
we've had
Joker, Penguin, Mr.Freeze, Bane, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, The Riddler, Catwoman, Clayface, Two Face, and even Harley Quinn.
I love how they presented all of these characters, and the big Bat himself.
It was stellar.

So, what exactly would a new game bring to the table?

Yeeeeeaaaaaah, I don't think this is true at all, and I haven't even played any of the games.

It seems pretty clear to me that what people have liked about both games is the ability to inmerse yourself in all the roles Batman plays to some degree, you can fight, glide, strike from the shadows, investigate clues, all with a healthy dose of sandbox environment, the latter being the absolute rage right now for gamers (nope, the GTA scars aren't healing anytime soon!).
