I like Ska quite a bit. It evokes feelings of being young and adventurous in me. The Planet Smahers and early Aquabats are some good examples.

Also, take that, Feli.

My knowledge of ska is pretty limited, but....

The Beat: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_-7fqUMuyg

The Specials: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTrY3G6eGJs

Fishbonehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KK640dPPhXE

Rancid (I know they're primarily a punk band, but this is a pretty heavily ska influenced song): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hArp2xkbWrg&feature=fvst

Me and feliciano were talking about ska a while back in one of the threads. I kind of like it in small doses, only because I feel it's a type of music that can easily fall into cliché when done poorly.

And here I thought this thread was about me.

I've been listening to these guys called Kemuri, a japanese Ska band, for quite awhile. Started listening to them when I was in high school and just rediscovered them again and they're still awesome. It's catchy, ridiculously uplifting ska music with some Engrish that makes it all the more endearing.
