well, bethesda produced games seem to be hit or miss mostly

though i guess going by their track record

rage - hit
brink - miss
dishonored - hit
eso - miss
wolfenstein - hit?

hmm, maybe it is worth giving a go, has an 82/100 metacritic, must be good. it just looked like one of those style over substance games, that's my take.

i still recommend going through the old series, just because robo-hitler.

Dude, Rage isn´t widely considered a hit. As to Wolfenstein, from what I hear apart from a retarded AI and some technical problems on pc, it´s a pretty nice game.

I was a pretty big fan of this game when it came out.
And if it's even possible, I love Ghostbusters more now than when I did then.
Don't get me wrong, I've loved Ghostbusters all my life, but my appreciation of the movie and the humor seems to grow as I get older.
And apparently so did my love of the game.

It's most brilliant feature is often the most overlooked one.
You don't play as one of the original four.
You play the rookie. At first glance you're like, "Aw man, really? Still can't play as Egon?"
But then the genius of it starts to hit you...
these guys are voiced by the original cast members, and you're the rookie.
It's as close as you can ever get to hanging out with THE Ghostbusters, man. You play their new recruit.
You get to interact with Ray, Egon, Peter, and Winston. That's better than playing as one of them.
Like... imagine going to a theme park, where there's a Ghostbusters ride/haunted house, and you play a new recruit who gets to bust ghosts alongside the guys...
only to find out you're actually busting alongside Murray, Ramis, Ackroyd, and Hudson in character.
This game would be much less remarkable if they had sound-alikes voicing the characters. Yet, they don't... and that's a HUGE part of why this game is so good.
Instead of just an hour and a half with these iconic characters, you get to play through this (if you rushed it, maybe five hours) for hours and hours and practically each moment of the game is dripping not only with classic humor and one-liners but awesome references to the first two movies. Gotta love it.

You know, they're bringing Ghostbusters back into theatres this summer. Ivan Reitman was in town last summer for a special screening of some of his movies, and I wanted to go to it but couldn't convince my friends to go, and tickets were a bit pricey.

Yeah, pretty much every character from the films are voiced by their screen actor/actress, which is why the game works so well as a third movie.

Including Walter Peck.

I loved the Ghostbusters Game too, written by and starring all the original cast, full of easer eggs, the Multiplayer was even good too (and in MP you could play as the original team!!)

I recently completed Tomb Raider, and have started on Mass Effect 1 (with an amazing HD texture mod, and a few tweaks to make it look brand new! because it looked horrible when I first installed it)

I will probably have way more games than i can shake a fist at after the Steam summer Sale.

I found the Ghostbusters game frustrating to play. Just trying to wrangle the ghosts.

At first (mind you I played it the first time on the PS3 and now I'm playing on the PC, albeit with a PS3 controller- but I dunno if that's a factor) I did too. Just zapping Slimer in the beginning was hard.
But playing through the story now, it's SO much easier than I remember.
You should give it another shot.

Started playing Arkham City a few days ago. That was a big mistake. I'd heard the game was addictive, but Jesus Christ.

I just got a PS3 again, so I'm knee-deep in a bunch of games I hadn't played yet.
Inlcuding but not limited to...

GTA V
Dead Space 3
and
Uncharted 3

I got it in a half price sale, and i have had no technical problems or bad AI experiences, it's a pretty solid game

After 3 months, I was finished with Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. A game I'm pretty happy about, even if it bordered on overkill in the last stage.

Right now I'm playing BioShock and enjoying the hell out of it. Even when things get complicated or rough or confusing, I love navigating that world.

The happier one.
I watched the sad endings and they were just about as mind-blowing.

Fuck them all.Don´t know why, more or less around the half point of the game I was like "can somebody kill theses fuckers?". I mean, Trevor is an unabated asshole, not in a good Tommy Vercetti way. As to Michael and Franklin, they tried to make them relatable, but they yet always persisted in douchebagery. Michael´s case with that nightmare of a family is an example of a shit reward for a change in character(as futile as it was).
