Or maybe they'll suck.

I'll be getting both once I get my PS4.
No way I'm buying those on the PS3.

I dunno if I told you guys, but I got a job at Gamestop, and I'll be starting around the middle of October.
Job comes with a lot of perks. %15 off everything in the store. Get to take out any pre-owned game free for four days.
Etc etc. I'm pretty sure I'll be dropping a lot of that first paycheck on a PS4 and Alien Isolation if it's out by then.

Nice. A friend of mine's worked at Gamestop for a long time and it seems like a pretty sweet deal.

Right. Because after I upgrade my video card, and buy a shitload more RAM, and not to mention more hard drive space, I'll have saved $400 right?

if you can't find it in your heart to delete your porn collection so you can have 35gb free space (also dude, stream that shit), then there's no knowing.

also, your pc is more recent than my laptop, and my laptop is above the minimum requirements, pretty sure your toaster can handle it.

http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

go there and see if it meets the minimum requirements. you might have to update your drivers and that would be the worst of it.

It doesn't meet the minimum requirements. That's the problem.
And I don't have any porn on here actually. That was my laptop.
This computer is clean as a whistle.
But it's still hella full.
WITH GAMES.
and comics, and music, and programs, and movies.
I don't keep 1/4th of the stuff I'd like to and I'm down to the bare minimum right now. The average PS3 has more HDD space than I have on my computer.
I have 230gb total. And I've used... about 210.

All my drivers are still up to date, but dude, I don't even think I have 2 gigs of RAM.
Let alone a new enough video card to handle shit.

you could probably upgrade your PC for less than the cost of a PS4, then there's the fact games cost less than half as much on PC as PS4 generally. (Alien Isolation is £65 for PS4 version, and I pre-ordered it on PC for £25 ;) )

do dxdiag and post your system specs.

Guys... i appreciate it, but even if it was cheaper... I'm still buying the PS4.
Also the playstation pre-order for Alien Isolation is 60% off right now.

Honestly, I'm giving this a 10/10 on the visuals alone, Creative Assembly perfectly captured Ridley Scott's film and I haven't even come across the Xenomorph yet.

Emulators are the stuff of gods.
My childhood buddy Trever moved in with my family and I last Saturday.
So I've sorta been reliving my childhood, including playing Goldeneye 64 with him at sleepovers.
We must have played for a solid two hours last night, it was amazing.

I am currently visiting Mordor again – got really close to finishing the game before, had to take a little break, and now I am going to finish it again. I look forward to seeing the end of it and getting some time for a new game. Truly excellent game by the way, Shadow of Mordor comes highly recommended.

I've put around 24 hours into Alien Isolation and still have a few missions left! This game is a masterpiece!

This is pretty fantastic, but it's also REALLY jarring for fans of the Pierce Brosnan movie.
In this 'remake', they don't just recast Bond from Brosnan to Craig, they recast every other character as well.
Xenia, Alexc, Omurov, etc. While in theory, its fine that they're not recognizable, but it's bad because they really don't seem like their characters.
Maybe it's just me, but when I saw 006, the fact he DIDN'T look OR sound like Sean Bean took me out of the game instantly.
I mean, you could've hired a bunch of familiar looking mid-level actors to play these roles. Do some legitimate recasting.
Instead of just halfway decent renders of people we can't recognize.

Having said that, it does help that the plot and story are slightly different and to that end even inventive and creative.
It's a blend not only of the N64 classic, but the Goldeneye movie itself and the feel of the Daniel Craig Bond films.
The result is a fierce shooter that's strengths far outweigh it's weaknesses. And for what it's worth, it's the best 007 outing on current (last?) gen systems.
Blood Stone was short and mediocre, Quantum of Solace was about as good as it's movie counterpart. Other than that...
Zip.
Reloaded fills in that gap though, reminding us how a good 007 game is.
(and multiplayer is still fun as hell)

This is ridiculously cool and incredibly fun to play. I have no idea how this game slipped past me for two years.
It's so awesome.

dishonored's best strengths lie in its ability to be replayed in a whole manner of styles

you can get through the entire game with no upgrades or kills. good luck.

also i played the goldeneye remake for the wii, and while i agree that yes they weren't alike to the film characters, this was the first bond story not to be based on a fleming novel, which to me screams flexibility and reinterpretation.

This game where you date pigeons is pretty cool.

Meh. I wasn't really feeling it. I liked the first one better.
