I am looking for a reasonably priced Sound/music editor program that I can use on my Gateway PC (w/ Windows Vista). Something that I can download or purchase in person. I am looking at just something not too complicated that I can use to cut, fade and link music to a Powerpoint presentation.

Any recommendations?

Adobe makes Audacity which is freeware to edit wmv, wav and mp3 files.

It's reasonably powerful but not intimidating to use.
