"who wouldn't want to dock their canoe in Natalie's Port, man"

The only thing I find stupid and boring, are his segments with the kidnap victims. They're just too long. That's what she said.

Someday, when I'm talking about movies IRL, I hope I get to use that joke myself.

I quite agree. I can appreciate that Red Letter is trying to make Plinkett more fleshed out (so to speak), but his character development really does work best when it's offscreen. He makes all these references to hacked up ex-wives, heavy drug use, frequent kidnappings and witnessing the Titanic disaster, and it's so much more fun to wonder if he's lying, telling the truth or recalling a few bad drug trips.

To paraphrase Bill Watterson, leaving a few blanks to our imagination can be so much more effective than anything RLM could deliver on camera.

Still funny as hell. Just thinking of the PM review, and him trying to say "protagonist" is enough to crack me up.

*Edit
"...Peter Parker....Rocky Balboa, and Kevin Bacon"

Oh dear Lord, I was just looking at the first part of the first review (in which he defines the typical protagonist) and fuck me, a brilliantly nasty gag that I hadn't noticed even though I've seen it twice: look at the bottom right of the splitscreen at 4m 31s.

You just noticed that?

Yeah, I thought that was a nice touch.

hmmm. I need to watch the review for episode 2 soon. I started watching the Episode 1 review, and was really enjoying it, but I never finished it :( Stupid revision.

Tried watching the first review a while back, didn't find it overly funny really.

*shrugs and walks out of thread*

It's not even so much that it's funny, but that it's actually true. It makes you wonder if George Lucas knew at all what made the original trilogy so good.

Yeah :( , I mean my friend who is really in to Star Wars says that George Lucas prefers the prequels :? If anyone said that to a starwars fan they would surely be slaughtered! And does anyone know if RLM is doing an episode III review?

And it wasn't so much that they were funny, I found the bits where he goes in to the basement with the girls and stuff rather irritating, but what he was saying about the film was pretty interesting.

I kind of hope not, but I think the answer is yes. I actually like that one and I want to remain ignorant to any glaring flaws it may have.

Yeah, it got out of hand in the second one.

I have a feeling he'll be a little less critical of Episode III. It's the only prequel worthy of being called a Star Wars movie.

We'll see, though he was bashing III a bit in his Phantom Menace review.

I'm sure he will still bash it, even if it is just because it is a prequel

Plinkett's Episode III review is finally here and it's hilarious as expected.

Lamest videos ever. Maybe I'm the only one who doesn't find those videos funny. Searching nits to pick is not in my definition of "review".

I don't find them funny either, that doesn't mean the guy isn't right though.
