Nah, I have no idea what people saw in Norton, the man IS a fine actor, but he really wasn't the right Banner, maybe it was more of a problem with the movie itself, which was a complete piece of shit, but Eric Bana did a better job at portraying a more accurate Banner.

They should hire someone "skinny and weakly", more in line with Ultimate Bruce Banner, Sharlto Copley is a good candidate indeed.

That's true, but you make it sound like The Incredible Hulk was the holocaust while I thought it was an alright movie.

It sure as hell wasn't "Meet The Spartans", but I thought there was way too much emphasis on the uninteresting things about The Hulk.

You know, I feel tempted to give the movie another chance, and all because of your evil influence !

In any case, I feel that given the recent news, it would be much better to discuss WHO could (and would likely) be the next Banner.

I personally quite liked the version of the Hulk with Ed Norton, he played it pretty well, and the chase at the beginning when he is somewhere in the East is really good.

They should, but I don't think Marvel would risk triggering "bad memories", I think they'll go for a new, fresh face.

And I personally want skinny weak ultimate Banner :P !

I'm unsure, the kid is good, but If he had to be in a Marvel movie then I would see him more as a young Tony Stark, or even Hank Pym.

I for one would love that. Bana was amazing. Landed himself a lead role in a Spielberg movie for his performance in a flop. Not many people can say they've done that.

I prefer Ed Norton's Hulk to Poida's.

Poida was Bana's character in Full Frontal. The role that most Australians remember him for.

Haha I forgot he played Chopper, but yeah I'd say that that's also pretty well remembered as well.
He's not a bad actor, I just thought that that Hulk movie was pretty incomphrehensible.

1. In my opinion, Marvel either made a mistake when they first cast Norton or they made a mistake by not bringing him back. Either way, establishing the primary heroes and the actors playing them in their own movies without bringing every single one of them back for Avengers was a very bad move.

2. Marvel's excuse sounds like a load of crap to me. It sounds like they kicked Ed Norton off because he wasn't willing or able to act in an ensemble. I find that hard to believe that such a description would apply to an actor of Norton's caliber, especially if he's so willing to come back.

3. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GET THIS RIGHT?! Is it really so difficult to portray this character effectively onscreen that we need three actors for the role in as many movies?
