There are two pieces of advice that I've always considered invaluable when picking up chicks:

1) They say women like details, pampering, attention, talking, bla bla bla bla. But if you go out with somebody, if you play it cool, YOU MAKE CLEAR WHAT YOU WANT, and then you just go for it (asking her to be your girlfriend, holding her hand, kissing her) then you've done 20% of the job.

Where's the other 80% ?

2) Walk into every goddamn place like you are going to get every woman pregnant, and that's 80% of the job done.

It sounds like a broken record, I know it does, but it's all about confidence and making them notice it.

Well, to be frank we've been in class for like 5 weeks now, and this is just one of those squid's that broke the camels back. She compliments my drawings and stuff, but she's just very condescending because she's already taking calc and I haven't, etc.

She's just one of those people who inserts themselves in the conversations of others and that pisses me off. Like I'm no more sarcastic to her than I am to you guys (now I'm going ot get a bunch of posts saying I'm too sarcastic to you guys). i guess what I'm trying to say is that she's just an annoying person, this was just another brick in the annoying wall.




No I got she was trying ot make conversation, I just don't think people should make conversation's that they know nothing about. Don't start like you know a lot, only to reveal you know nothing, start with maybe a "Oh? Well, is that common?", and then I could say "yes" and she could go "Oh, well, what atre some comic movies, maybe I could check them out some time" and I could be all "[insert List]" and she could be all "really? I didn't know that! Wow, Dr. Brooklyn you are the king of comics and comic accesories!" and I could be all

Well, that at least seems understandable. At first you made it seem like she was just ignorant of comic book movies. Some people just have poor social skills. All you can do is avoid her or put up with her. If she eventually asks you out, you can be direct and tell her you're not interested.



Probably true, although I can sympathize with someone wanting to make conversation by trying to engage in their interests. I'm inclined to do that. "So, you're a ballet dancer, eh? That's like....dancing, right?".
