No, Sam Elliot is a great actor, but he just doesn't have that look to him.

I just think Eastwood would be too perfect as The Saint, especially when he's based on Eastwood.

Somehow, I just got this image in my head of Johnny Knoxville playing Cassidy. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Yeah, whoever plays him is going to need a killer Irish accent at the very least. Likewise, there's gonna be fanboy hell to pay if Jesse Custer is portrayed without a southern drawl.

Regarding The Saint, I have only two requests: 1)He must have a southern accent, and 2)He has to be scary as all fuck. No matter how good the actor is, if he can't inspire pants-shitting terror with just a look, he's not the right guy.

Really? I mean, Sam Rockwell's a great actor, but I just can't see him as a bloodthirsty killer. Not to say that Cassidy is entirely a homicidal maniac, but he needs to have that crazy-dangerous edge to him at all times.

Also, for Saint Of Killers I'd like that guy who played Hollis Mason in Watchmen and Hammerson in Shoot Em Up.
