I remember someone saying to me once that they had like a ten year old cousin who was really confused about why Fury was white in Ultimate Alliance, and wanted to know why they changed him from being black (which he apparently is in all the marvel cartoons now).

Actually in most cartoons now he is black but with white fury's hairstyle and parts of his uniform. I think that's mainly because the kids seeing the movie's won't be confused.

I feel that white Fury has a more badass gruff Clint Eastwood sort of thing going on. I also feel like he seems a lot more like someone you wouldn't want to fuck with.
Has anyone here read Garth Ennis's FURY and also FURY: PEACEMAKER?

They're good. FURY is good because Garth Ennis is awesome at writing badass hyperviolence, and PEACEMAKER is good because Garth Ennis is awesome at writing badass war stories.
