actually when i was posting, i was thinking that my only complaint is that it's too nice/clean etc, but i guess it could be early Rorschach

Anyone have a Magnoli Rorschach (or equivalent) trench that they no longer fancy? Looking to sale?

Hi guys! I've been looking for a trench coat that isn't expensive that would work for my Rorschach costume... Anybody have an idea? Ideally, I really don't want to spend more than $50 (which I know might be tough b/c a lot of the ones I've seen have been over $100 easily  )

Thrift stores are your friend.

I would have just quoted the above comment, but this advice pretty much applies to the entire thread.

although I find that hard to believe, the time and energy you'd probably spend looking in charity/thrift stores, you could have probably earned the difference in price working a minimum wage job .
there's never any guarantee that what you want even exists second hand, in good quality.
you might have better luck on ebay, since there are people from all over the world selling on ebay rather than just locally.

There's a promising one for 50 dollars (plus P+P) with about 36 hours left on it on auction though

also here, (current bid $12.50 +P+P) about 36 hours left.

You do realize that she is looking for a trench coat for a costume, yeah? It doesn't matter if it's in good condition or not. And her main point is that she doesn't want to spend a lot of money on it.

t3cii is right; I don't really care how nice of quality it is as long as it doesn't look bad. My friend is letting me borrow his trench coat but my mom bought me a costume so I just want a coat for next year in case I can't be Rorschach this year. I saw that trench coat on ebay but I'm not sure if I should go for it or not...

yeah, I know, that's why I posted some links of cheap trench coats on ebay.

New to this but here goes :)

I plan on making a film accurate version of Rorschach for London ComicCon so i can just look badass hehe. Anyway, Ive ordered the Texas hatters Rorschach hat and also the Indy Magnoli Trench coat. If anyone has any new pictures of them for me so i can take a look at them that would be great :)

Heres my current mask setup. Took me almost 2 years to get it right and thank god i have the perfect headshape for Rorschach :P
