Just as the title says, why is it that Hawk Man is considered to be the most useless hero by every fan? Superfriends didn't really help matters.

Because... he is.


He serves no purpose, consider the Justice League: How many of them can fly? A lot. How many of them have above human strength? Most of them. How many of them have advanced combat training? Several. Hawkman doesn't bring anything to the table that nobody else can do, and when his character isn't nearly as cool as theirs he's deemed useless.

there's always hawkgirl and at least she brings sex appeal.

i actually watched a good hawkman based episode of JLU this morning, and he saved GL from some ghost guy. he does at least have Nth metal stuff, which has any propery the writers feel like giving it right?
