It's strange, I would think there's a chance that Marvel would put him on the avengers movie as a SHIELD agent given how Van Lente (the guy who wrote the mini-series) said they have "plans" for Taskmaster.

And let me guess... Jon Hamm will play him?

FUCK YEAH !

Still, "El maestro de Task" should get some recognition, instead of being a c-list villain for all of eternity :(

He's getting a miniseries, isn't he?
That's more than some of B-list villains.

He just had a miniseries not too long ago.
Plus, Taskmaster appeared in this week's Deadpool MAX:

I'm going to let this one pass, because daring to compare Taskmaster with such a lame Batman ripoff is not worthy of any sort of discussion

I am by no means a Moon Knight fan, but how exactly is he anything like Batman? Last time I checked, Batman wasn't possessed by an evil egyptian spirit, and Batman only has one secret identity, Bruce Wayne, where-as Moon Knight has a bunch of secret identities because he has split personality disorder.

He is a "dark" and "brooding" vigilante, with no sort of superpowers whatsoever, who assaults criminals with questionable methods that include fear tactics and different forms of gadgets, he has his own version of the bat-plane, in this case a moon-shaped ship; he also has some moon-shaped "batarangs".

I suppose Iron Man is a Batman ripoff too.

But also, I'm pretty sure that Moon Knight has super strength.

Not anymore, his deity Khonshu took it away.

Pretty sure that Iron Man has a lot more in common with Batman than Moon Knight Does.
I'm talkin' about an orphaned millionaire industrialist ladykiller and genius inventor who has an English butler and fights crime using high tech gadgets.

Orphaned by a criminal ? No.

Vigilante ? No.

Dark and brooding theme ? No.

Expert in martial arts ? No.

Fractured psychological profile ? No.

Ambiguous morality ? No.

All the aforementioned qualities, apart from the first one (I think), are shared (shittily) by Moon Knight.

Ever heard of Civil War?
However, I don't really see how Batman has ambiguous morality at all, his code seems pretty strict.

Can you do proper noir with Iron Man ?

Point.

He led Joe Chill to commit suicide.

He made secret files on how to defeat all the members of the JLA.

He was about to blow up an alien mothership with a nuclear bomb had he not given chance to Superman's methods.

He killed Darkseid.

I can go ON and ON with this one !

That was never confirmed, only assumed, plus in every single other iteration where Chill dies, he's murdered by someone else, several times before Batman has the chance himself.

Iron Man was in charge of an initiative that locked his former friends and team-mates in an interdimensional gulag and created an imperfect clone of his dead friend for the sole purpose of making other friends of his dead. And the whole time, they tried really hard not to make him appear too villainous while he was in charge of this shit.

I've got to say Iron Man is by far the morally lax of the two. Batman doesn't drink, doesn't sleep aroun das much) and the reason he made files to wpe out the JLA was incase any of them got over taken by a telepath or something and they needed to be put down for good.

also lets look at how Moon Knight and Batman got their money.

Batman: Inherited from a doctor father who started charities and the such.
Moon Knight: WAS A FUCKING MERC!

How they got their powers:

Batman: trained with ninjas for a period of time.
Moon Knight: BECAME THE AVATAR OF VENGEANCE FOR A FUCKING GOD!

Alter egos:
Batman: Is the guy he was born as
Moon Knight: HAS THREE DIFFERENT EGOS BECAUSE HE'S NUTTIER THAN SQUIRREL SHIT!

And really by your logic of if they are a powerless vigilante who uses tech... isn't the Punisher a rip off of batman?

The drinking I can pass because it's part of a rigorous discipline, but not sleeping around ?

Exageration, none of the methods were lethal.

And it's obviously not that big of a deal when you purposely leave out:

A) The manipulation done to his colleagues and friends.

B) The fact that he didn't tell them such counter-measures existed.

C) His failure in preventing his enemies from obtaining the information.

And why did all of this happen ? Because of Batman's absurdly obsessive-paranoid behavior, which makes him think of EVERY possible outcome and distrust almost everyone around him, and unlike Moon Knight, his crazyness contrasts with reality.

Brooklyn wrote:

It's actually cool that this aspect of Moon Knight's character comes back to haunt him frequently.

It's a shame writers don't know what the fuck to do with it.

Brooklyn wrote:
Batman: trained with the best experts in criminal behavior, forensic work, deductive procedures, and martial arts from all over the world for about 12 years.
Moon Knight: Military experience.

Fix'd

Brooklyn wrote:

I don't want to sound snob, I respect you guys too much to go into that direction, so I'll try my best with this one:

Moon Knight's "Dissociative Identity Disorder" is, by far, the most childish and ridiculous representation of the disorder I've ever seen in ANY fictional media to this day, there are some points at which I can say "It's comics, forget it", but the absurdity of the way the disorder is represented is beyond any reasonable suspension of disbelief.

When Moon Knight actually has 12, or 13 personalities (which is usually the number for people with DID), when some of them are actual WOMEN, when most of those are disfunctional, bizarre, and actual INTERESTING personalities, then perhaps it will be worth something for the reader.

Brooklyn wrote:

Not at all pal, because the punisher's m.o. is the central focus of the character.

Also that The Punisher is (apart from dark and moody) nothing like Batman.
