t3cii ! I call upon thee ! So that we may discuss thy most awesome show on HBO right now !

Seriously guys, watch this shit, like the creators said, it's The Sopranos in Middle Earth, I was seriously wondering how the hell was HBO even daring to compete with the juggernaut that AMC turned into.

Obviously I didn't know about this show.

I've always wanted to read the original books by George R Martain, if anyone here has read them I'd like to know if you reccommend them.

A lot of people in forums seem to recommend them, the creator said the show is very close to the book, and if you look for the characters on google you'll find plenty of fan art, I'm guessing there's quite a following, and it may very well be for the right reasons.

Sorry bud, I don't get HBO and I've trying to cut down on my internet usage. I've never really been a fan of his genre anyways.

Well how many episodes is the season? The only show I've ever watched online was The Wire, and I find streaming clips has a bit impact on my usage allowance.

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who can go into too much detail after watching an episode. :)

It's pretty new, three episodes only, new ones air up every sunday night.

Oh please, I don't doubt my capabilities are very well up to the task when it comes to saying what's awesome about any series :) !

But your input is always apprecciated, if you don't want to give this a chance, then AT LEAST consider watching Boardwalk Empire, that might serve your taste better !

Love the books, and the series doesn't disappoint either, it's brilliant. Tyrion is perfect, I was worried that Cersei was going to be weak because she's played by Lena Headey but those reservations seem to have been put to rest as she has the perfect amount of menace and venom in what she says. Even though I know what is going to happen because I've read the books, I hate waiting for the next episode!

I found this week's episode pretty dull in comparison to the previous ones, but perhaps that's because I'm totally obsessed with The Killing at the moment.
