Other than that, I'm really intrigued about several of the new titles, we got westerns, we got Sci-Fi, we got war comics, a little bit of horror, medieval hack n' slash, and of course, our beloved (as well as hated) superheroes, good times are coming.

And word to the wise guys, I'm sorry to say this, but I would stay away from Detective Comics, Tony Daniel can't write a good comic to save his life !

Superman Earth One bears no resemblance at all to that pitch.
All-Star Superman is pretty similar to it though.

As awesome as All-Star Superman was, they are NOT going to get him on this "throne" if they go that way.

Well, sure, but it's also a problem about the pre-conceived notions of non-superman readers, and going with the Morrison treatment is not exactly the best way to get the character to the top, it's just too weird for newcomers.
