Live action, dude. Live action.

What I want to see is some live-action stuff based on the old animated series.

that would be really cool
a green hornet movie of the same style would also be preferable to the seth rogen abortion we got :D

Exactly.
I wish that reboots could be eventually used differently.

A successful batman trilogy closes perfectly, but does that mean that they'll never make another batman movie? thats wishful thinking.
Instead of a reboot being an escape from a cinematic travesty (batman & robin), it should be simply a reinterpretation to introduce a new view/version of a well know character, to prevent an already perfectly fine trilogy or movie from going downhill.

But if it's perfectly fine.. it won't age horribly, instead it will remain cool... then there is no need for a reboot...

Also, you respond to a post with exactly and then say you don't want what you were agreeing with... just so you know

i agree with niteowl in the sense that one trilogy shouldn't end the future for any movies of that character, and reinterpretations are always welcome in my book (unless they end up sucking).

I agree with rebooting a series that has hit a complete and utter dead end. It's just that he wants to see reboots used for more that rebooting dead franchises, but the post he was agreeing with was saying a reboot should be used to reboot a dead franchise

what I'm saying is, I'm glad TDKR is nolan's last Batman movie. Go out with a bang.
To quote a great character...
"its better to burn out, than to fade away."

but theres no reason to stop there.
Start a new trilogy with a different view like "Ultimate Spider-Man" to "The Amazing Spider-Man" (comic books)
