I've been avoiding flashpoint, but boredom compelled me to read the first two issues of the batman tie-in.
The first issue wasn't very good, but the second one was mindblowing.
Mindblowing.

It was a suprise to me too.
I knew he was gonna write that Batman: Europa mini, which i was really looking forward to, but then it disappeared off of the face of the fucking earth.

I don't know what is it about DC Comics that they love to announce stuff only to blatantly sweep it under the rug.

Although I'm glad Batman Earth-2 is not happening anytime soon, asking Johns to write Batman is like asking Ennis to write The Avengers.

Well well well, look what Mr. Lee just said at SDCC:

http://www.newsarama.com/comics/sdcc-20 ... 10723.html

EDIT: Check the entry feed below the text, somewhere around 5:02 Lee says he has done "pages" for both Europa and Dark Knight, Boy Wonder, and that he expects them to come out next year.

Apparently I read somewhere that Lee is only doing the first issue of Europa, which kinda makes me sad.

I'd say save your money, and go watch Ip Man 1 & 2, which you should ANYWAY
but the fighting in this movie, especially towards the end is brilliantly brutal.
Worth the $12 for the Blu Ray.

I liked the Batman tie-in.

Nah, I agree with Ziller here, the Batman tie-in and the whole spin on the Batman mythos was pretty much the best thing about Flashpoint.

Does anybody know who got the credit for that idea ? Was it Azzarello or Johns who thought of the "switch-up" ?
