ha :)
I'm surprised no one came up with that sooner. In fact, I kind of wish no one did.

I'm sorry, I was just bored and thought it would be good for a laugh

I don't get it - do you have to live in America to understand?

My thing?

it's a parody of the Wal*Mart chains logo.

it usually is accompanied by a smiley face and there logo is "Wal*Mart Always low prices, ALWAYS" I just took that and edited it.

I went ahead and moved this thread into the "Miscellaneous Watchmen" board. Seemed a more fitting place for it.

Glad you liked my posters, thanks for the comments.... Here is a new one, something I wanted to do since the cast was announced. Its a teaser poster based on the cover of number 4, that is one of my favorites. For the record, the girl is Laura Mennell, who is supposed to play Janey Slater in the film.

Hope you like it.

It's a shame you couldn't have photoshopped a box of popcorn in there. Otherwise, I'd say that's damn good.

If I saw that photo without reading that it's user made, I would've believed that that picture is an actual photo from the movie.

Me too, if I didn't recognise the photo of the actress!

So I liked that "Watchmaker" manip so much, I made it a wallpaper. I was also so inspired by it, I made one of my own using the Minuteman photo as a centerpiece. Hope you guy's like that one too.

Wow, nice to know that, glad you all liked it so much.

About the photo, I tried to put the popcorn into it, but I hadn't very good source material, and the photo was to crammed with elements, so I left it that way.

Im thinking other manips right now, I hope I have enough time.

Cheers!

the pic makes the actor look like you threw Matt Dillon and Bruce Campbell in a watchmen blender.

LOL!

I can assure you that face is 100% Billy Crudup, well, with a small adjust in his eyes, and more hair (that I took from another picture of him).

Here is another poster, this one was kind of obvius once the picture of The Minutemen appeared online. Hope you like it:

And, as before, the montage:

This one doesn't turned out as well as I would have like it to, but the gold statue effect is very hard to get properly done.

It does seem a little sketchy, but it still looks great.

My main quibble is that the book spine is upside-down. I'm nitpicking, I know, but it really throws me off.

Oh, crap... In my country (spain), the direction of the spine goes that way, I always forget to put it right :(

Right now I dont feel like putting more time in this manip, but eventually I'll change it. Thanks for the comments and for noticing it.

Cheers!
