Well, it's true that we don't get nearly enough female combatants in here. We can get back to the Animal Man fight later, but let's go ahead and get the Batgirl match underway.

FIGHT!!!

:(

Like I said, the Animal Man fight can wait until the next round. And I'll count on you to hold me to that.

In the meantime, let's talk about who the superior Batgirl is.

The only problem I foresee is not a lot of people reading DCnU Batgirl #1, I know I didn't

I did. She's weak in her legs and freezes up when people point a gun at her abdomen.
While stephanie is renowned for screwing shit up, she was very capable as batgirl.

What do you expect from someone who was wheelchair bound after being shot in the stomach for the better part of 30 years! :D

Is that his power? Why'd you even make this a fight then? The guy couldn't lose against Superman if that's the case.

Unless he threw him into a sun or something, I guess.

He doesn't have to die to lose though, to my understanding death was never one of the conditions of the fights here.

So would Animal Man have to knock him unconscious or what?

OR! Animal man kills him, the fight is called, and he respawns after the next fight has started.

animal man could potentially take the constriction ability of a giant anaconda and incapacitate res man, right?

I have no familiarity with the character, so I'm just being honest... when you say usually that implies there are times he doesn't. As such... how long does it take then?

Don't worry, I have only read his New 52 # 1, much of what I know is of doing a little research here and there, and that # 1 issue alone starts with him on the gurney of a morgue, so perhaps, depending on HOW he died, it would make for different variations of how long it takes for him to resurrect, hell, also in that issue he got chewed by an airplane engine, at night, when he came back, it was daylight.

Certainly, if Animal Man stomped him to pieces, it would give plenty of time for the other round to begin perhaps  !

Okay, here's how it goes down, animal man puts on strength of a gorilla... tears him apart... claims victory.

boom.

But Resurrection Man's last power was the ability to turn liquid, he just got into Animal Man's nostrils and drowned him.

For the record, Buddy Baker apparently likes "strength of an elephant" more :o !

I'm not sure if it's an amazing idea to pit two heroes against each other based entirely on one issue each.
