Please no, it's midnight over here and Bizarro language would kill me in my state.

In all seriousness, DC Comics should probably be a little more clear about what they really mean when they say "Batman and Green Lantern continuity will remain intact".

They really should, but because they haven't and the tone they took in Dark Knight and Batman... they are mostly going back to square one, meaning Hush was rendered out of continuity anyways

Also, it's 1:40ish a.m. here you're just one timezone over.

Continuity hasn't been completely fucked up, Batman And Robin seemed to carry on from the whole Batman Reborn era pretty well.

So far, but I have noticed a different tone in BnR like batman and robin carries on the themes, but I have a feeling that the timeline will be tampered somewhat

Well one thing I noticed in Snyder's batman was the inclusion of Professor Pyg at the Arkham riot, and yeah like i said, in BnR there were references to Dick being Batman, Bruce being dead for a while and also the black glove stuff.

Yeah, I saw Pyg too, we'll have to wait a little bit longer to get a real idea though

It is clear, with the recurring appearence of the "Pink Lady" that we'll be having an event on our hands pretty soon, that should explain what exactly is happening with the DC Universe.

Just as a curious tip, Crisis On Infinite Earths apparently didn't happen in this timeline, as explained by Sterling Gates in the Comic Vine podcast.

I think I remember reading somewhere that there have been come instances where the "pink lady" will be playing a bigger role, like, apparently in Superboy he actually spoke to her or somethin'. I dunno.

I'm having my hopes up, probably Geoff Johns is going to try something akin to Infinite Crisis, which would fucking rock.

So, maybe it was a bit too much expecting a more subtle approach to this comic book, specially with all the good things I've been hearing from Ron Marz, unfortunately, when your main character is a fucking stripper, it's very difficult to imagine the editorial not taking advantage of that little fact, I feel confident saying that 70% of the panels have Voodoo just.............stripping..........and doing sexy poses.

The "saving" grace here is the art, it's great, it's very detailed, and it doesn't make Voodoo seem over-sexualized, unlike Starfire, her proportions are just right for her body and she looks pretty.

Still, shitty comic is shitty comic.

JOHN CONSTANTINE BITCHES !!! *Drops mic and walks away*

I would say just kidding, but it was pretty good, usually I would say no to a comic where there's a chance Constantine will be taken off the spotlight by a bunch of other people, granted, those people are celebrities like Deadman and Zatanna, still I gave it a chance also because it was Peter Milligan, and I surely was not dissapointed.

When your idea for a team is one that has to defeat an enemy (Crazy Enchantress here) that just kicked the ass of Superman, Wonder Woman and Cyborg, you know you're in for an awesome ride.

Guys....

...don't let the pseudo-twilight cover fool you.

This shit was amazing, really, the art, the writing, it did more in 19 pages than most comics did in 30 or even 34, and that says a goddamn lot.

Batman: The Dark Knight #01

As per usual when it comes to these books, I find myself confused as to when exactly these events actually occur. Is the Jail breakout here supposed to be the same one from Batman #01? Or is this yet another one.

Also, the whole "One-Face" thing was pretty stupid.

Aquaman #01

Pretty freaking great. Loved how they completely embraced the whole "nobody respects Aquaman" joke, yet completely manage to humanize him. A great way to properly introduce the character to newcomers.

You don't think one panel is a little soon to judge?

No. No I do not. Unless they do something incredibly genius with this development, it's stupid.

Can't that be said of anything in comics? Unless they do it right they did it wrong? Unless they do it good its bad?

And on a related note: WOOHOO 8000 POSTS!!!

Did i miss some press release where they detailed what would happen? because from what I gathered there was one panel of exposition and absolutely no indication of what would happen or what was meant... or even what DID happen.

I'm just saying it's a bit premature to call something a seriously stupiud character move when there was literally one panel to base judgement on, that's all. I'm going to wait until AT LEAST issue #2 before I pass judgement on "One-Face"
