Yes, this is apparently real.

I love Shakespeare, I love Joss Whedon, and I love half the actors in that cast. It's all I can do to keep from literally drooling at the thought of this movie.

What say you?

Totes to Whedon keeping this a secret (though I guess it's kinda easy when people are focusing primarily on The Avengers).

While I'm not entirely a fan of taking older stories and putting them into modern times (save a few), I do like the idea of Whedon + Shakespeare. Reminds me that Anonymous is coming out this Friday and I think I will totally go see that.

If you haven't already, go watching the recent British production of Hamlet. It's fucking amazing.

Well.......................this sure as hell was unexpected !

And talk about Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Nathan Fillion, Fran Kranz, etc.

And those are the only ones whose names I can identify.

Let's not forget Clark Gregg, our erstwhile Agent Coulson, playing Leonato.

Also in the cast is Reed Diamond, another Dollhouse alum, here playing Don Pedro. Incidentally, I've been reading up on the source play, and it seems that Don Pedro is actually a very close mentor to Silvio. That's going to be quite interesting for Dollhouse fans to see, after the venomous relationship between Dominic and Topher.
