Awfully?

It's an English thing, probably.

But ignore that and please take the time to appreciate my wit and style in what I did there.

Is all of this because of my position on the abortion topic?

P.S: I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but I know what awfully means. What I don't know is what so "awful" about my statement.

Not being sarcastic, nor am I or Ziller carrying any animosity towards you because of your position on abortion.
In this context, "awfully" does not mean "badly", but "very". We're not being dicks.

I was referring to feliciano's reply, when he said I was full of shit. I was not sure if that was about the other topic or not.

Oh. Thanks for the clarification, then. ;)

LET'S BREAK THIS DOWN GUYS

I turned it around. When he said "That makes two of us winky face", I made it seem like I thought he actually meant he thought he was full of shit, instead of Feliano and him.

I'll accept my award now. You hacks.

Note to self: I brought this upon myself by attempting clever word play with a non-native speaker of my language. To this end in the future, I will make a note to just slap anyone such as this in the face instead of attempting such tomfoolery. It's not as clever, but effective none the less.

Well, to follow AYB´s lead, I´m going to talk about videogames.

On recent times( this month), played ME1 , until my MW3 came(did the campaign and invested some time on the multiplayer and co-op), and now I´m playing ME2 (holy shit, acronim overload).

The Mass Effect games are as awesome as usual. It´s pretty fucking weird that even after a shitload of playthroughs, I can still be suprised by the game. I´m actually thinking about going for a 9th playthrough.

As to Modern Warfare 3, being the guy that has bought these games since the original Modern Warfare ( a.k.a Call of Duty 4) first and foremost for the single player, I feel that all the time I invested on the campaigns payed off. It was all I could ask as a conclusion to the trilogy. That last moment before the credits rolled mirrored my feelings. That being said, too much was lost on the way to this victory.

On side note, having never heard Brian Tyler´s work, I´m pleasantly suprised. He´s no Hans Zimmer, but deliver a couple of tracks that were almost perfect, given the scenes in wich they were inserted .

Awesome, I'm on my fifth playthrough right now, loving it, want to reach at least twelve before ME3 hits stores !

What class do you play :D ?

In this case variety really is the spice of life.

Got 3 soldiers( shit, did this sound gay? ), one vanguard, one adept and one infiltrator. Thinking about doing a sentinel( now this most definently sounds gay  ) .
These are the ones I started in ME1 and then exported to ME2, and now am waiting to export from ME2 to ME3. They are pretty much tailor-made to acomodate to alot of mixes of personal and military backgrounds, and each love interest(the females ones , even with a female Shepard  ).
Other then that I have a couple of files(a Soldir and a Vanguard) that were my first playthroughs, but I decided against using as exports to ME3.

Not trying to be a dick, but I've never understood why some people like the soldier class ! Sure, let's drop awesome telekinetic powers and mind-blowing technological attacks, why ? MOAR GUNZ !

Really  ?

Anyways, I fully recommend that you play the sentinel class in ME2, it never gets old seeing Blue Suns mercenaries falling flat on their asses after getting hit by the Assault Armor's shockwave.

Also, did you "remain faithful" or did you go for the ME2 love interests :P ?

man Deus Ex HR is an awesome game, like it's starting to be all i think about, i see a floor level vent I think "I wonder if I can fit through that"
I love hacking too. it's pretty satisfying when you complete a hack with less than a second before you are kicked from the system.

It´s called a third person shooter for a reason my latin brother

But I can see your point. The shooting in ME1 is really crappy, but truth be told the biotic powers aren´t all that well implemented too(fortunantly the fixed both things in ME2). But a guy looks the other way because the whole thing is beatifully written.

That being said, there´s a reason why I have so many soldiers. It´s because I like to create a lot of intricate combinations of classes, personal and military background.

Take my soldiers as an example. All of them are spacers(living in space means he´s more opened minded about aliens, but at the same time makes it very hard to get caught in a eezo spil, therefore no biotic tendencies), and all of them are war heros(I think that only guys with a specialization like soldiers or adepts would be capable of holding the line on Elisium). Most of my soldiers(2 out of 3) date aliens, namely Tali and Liara(the other soldier is for Ashley for the similarities in background) .
All in alll, I´m a sucker for being the boy scout comando that likes to fuck the blue/masked /military chicks

Oh, and I´m "faithfull"(the quote marks are because I´m talking about virtual characters, not making a joke with what you said). I have one save for each love interest.

Dude--Spacer+War Hero+Soldier+Liara

Dude--Spacer+War Hero+Soldier+Tali

Dude--Spacer+ War Hero+Soldier+Ashley

Dude--Colonist+Sole Survivor+Vanguard+Jack( for those no in the "know", this is a female Jack  )

Dude--Earthborn+War Hero+Adept+Miranda

Dudette--Colonist+Ruthless+Infiltrator+Sha´Ira(ME1)-Kelly-Morinth(ME2).
Yeah, you guessed right, this the 100% Renegade of the bunch

I´m not gonna go on the details or else this post is gonna be huge, but Renegade file apart, I mostly save the council, spare the rachnii, and blow the Collector base to shit.

The sentinel that I´m thinking about creating will probably be a female Earthborn sole survivor. I´m gonna keep Alenko alive on this one(he only survives Virmire in my files on the Jack file  ). Only question is, do I make this one go for Alenko or Jacob for the sake of equality, or is this another one for Liara? I´m not particularly fond of seeing Alenko and or Jacob getting it on with my Shepard, but truth be told, i already have 8 files with dudes and dudettes going for the chicks, so it would interesting to see the what Bioware does on with this kind of combination. Will probably go for Alenko to see the "Spectre couple" shtick that will happen with my Ashley file, albeit with diferences.

And after previewing my post I think it goes without saying that these are my favourite games?

Technically it's an "RPG", though Mass Effect 2 was a little too far from that

Congratulations on knowing your lore ! Though I think one can rationalize how a spacer would or wouldn't get biotic tendencies, in any case, nice set-up you got going !

For my part, I may be on the minority, but my main Shep was born on the slums of Earth, and is also the butcher of Torfan, yet he is also full-paragon, usually I played my Sheps as Earthborn sole survivors, never liked the War Hero profile, too clean for my taste.

But later, as I played more and more, there was something about the whole deal with Torfan that just sounded intensely dramatic to me, and I chose that as my main psych profile.

Well, I said "faithful" because it strikes me as odd that people think of choosing any of the ME 2 LI's as "cheating", to my knowledge, a relationship has two sides.

If someone believes you're dead, and has moved on, then how the hell can you be cheating ?

RuiBK wrote:

I love The Illusive Man.

But I also hate that sonuvabitch ! No way I'm giving him the Collector Base, pains me to no end that it had to go to waste, but the risk is too high, Cerberus is simply not ready for that kind of knowledge.

And from the looks of ME 3, it seems like we made the right decision  !

As for the rachni decision (whom I also spared), I fear Bioware doesn't cop-out on it, I liked how well-written the scene with the asari on Illium was, but for ME 3 I better see some goddamn rachni in the flesh !

RuiBK wrote:

Mine too man, I absolutely LOVE this series, my greatest fear right now is that EA keeps juicing it after ME 3 and decides to make more games without Bioware's involvement, which would suck horribly.

Also, I want Miranda for permanent squadmate in ME 3

Let me organize this by colors...

Blue- It´s just reading the codex probably 8 times  and sometimes going to the mass effect wiki and trying to learn shit about the books and comics.

Green- I´m in the same situation. I trust the guy, but at the same time distrust him greatly.
The guy wants what is best for humanity, that´s for sure, but sometimes his methods go overboard. And because of the of how Cerberus is organized, even sometimes his employees go even more overboard the he would go or allow to go( the Overlord project and the the facility where Jack was raised).
As to Cerberus role on ME3, I sense some smoke screens. Shit can´t be as clear cut as it seems. I honestly think the Ilusive is gonna hunt Shepard in ME3 because he knows something regarding a conection betwenn Shepard and the Reapers. I think that he thinks that killing/capturing Shepard is somehow vital to stop the Reapers.

Red- Oh, we are gonna see. I can guarante you that. Some screens have already showed up on the interwebz. There´s only a slight problem. It´s slightly spoilerific, so if you want to know just ask .

Yellow- From what I managed to understand, Bioware has sort of a "golden boy/girl" reputation within EA´s structure. They seem to have some pull, and don´t seem as likely to be strong-armed into doing something they don´t want. As it is, Bioware seems be becoming some sort of "division" or a brand within EA´s ranks.
That being said, a part of me would willing to pay for a First Contact War game 8-)

As to the last bit, don´t really know, but there seems to unlikely right now. That being said, as long as the love interests aren´t one mission deals, and can be interacted with on the ship, don´t give a damn.

Now that you say that, how does a guy as tall and built(and with a shitload of augs) manages to crawl in those vents?

Just kidding
But the writers make fun of that in the game. In Tai Wong medical some guards talk about the vents not being secure, and the other guard says that they don´t need to be worried about midgets or contortionists trying to break in

my guess, your arms and legs fold in and chest folds down, even just saying Jenson's arms fold in would be enough, those vents only need to be big enough top fit his chest through.
