So, will all four be in the movie, or will they then settle on just one?

I think those four will be in the movie, unless they changed the "top five finalists" to "top four finalists".

Anyway, good choices. I'm especially glad that the toy commercial was picked; I hope "PROTECTING HUMANITY FROM ITSELF" is written on the box for the real Ozymandias figures. And that first Nostalgia video sure is subtle, huh?

There are more finalists. Click the arrow on the right to see more.

Also, none of these are in the movie yet. They are just the winners of the contest and get the prizes...

Zack will now decide if any of them will get into the film. Being in the film was never a guarantee to any of the winners.

BTW... three of the ads this site picked made it into the winner's circle. I wonder if we influenced the voting at all.

Yes even now it only says they have 'a chance'
The 4 top winners are great...
It was a shit movie, but the poster promoting Moore and O'Neill in the League was a nice touch so the Ozymandias toy would work...
Those unfamiliar with the book wouldn't really take notice of the ad, so they wouldn't be taken out of the movie, while it's a good in-joke for us!

Have you guys congratulated the winners yet?

Use the arrow to the right of the four winners that are visible. There are 11 winners in total.

I can only picture seeing 3 or 4 of those 11 actually appearing in the movie. I am surprised a few of those even made it and shocked that a few excellent ones were passed over, but then again, it could be people voting multiple times per day with 20 different names that are partially biasing the vote.

LOL, on the main youtube page it shows the winner, and it got two stars. Commercial sucked, Zack was probably just staring at her boobs the whole time because I can't think of any other explanation.

I see a total of twelve videos listed as winners of one sort or another. Five videos chosen by YouTube viewers which each win a Canon camcorder, and eight videos chosen by Znyder which each win $1000 and "a chance to have their commercial appear in the feature film WATCHMEN". One video by Watergunfilms (the awesome "Real men use VEIDT - Purple") is included in both lists, and a second video of theirs ("Yellow") is also in the latter list. I'm surprised how many of Z.S.'s choices are relatively boring Nostalgia ads.

Yes well at least its not nearly as much as the proportion of entrants that were boring Nostalgia ads...
