... No shit.

I'm pretty stoked right now. Bought the Alien Anthology on blu-ray off Amazon UK for a total of $25.85 including postage. Fucking bargain, in every sense of the word.

So...

I was watching the trailer.......for like the 14th time.

And I noticed, at the bottom of the article on the page I saw it, this picture of Fassbender:

http://media.screened.com/uploads/0/47/589191-56971.jpg

With a line on top of it (in the article) which said he was playing an android.

And then it got me thinking, how long has it been since we've seen an ANDROID in a movie ? Let alone in fiction.

Well, the first thing that pops into my head is Steven Spielberg's A.I.

Thats more likely a prop.
I saw it on a bio-bed IN the trailer.
Its clearly a space jockey's head.

Did you see the trailer on the big screen? I have missed the last run of 'big' movies, I went away into the wilderness for xmas/new year's. No Mission Impossible, no Game Of Shadows...

I saw both in theaters. Neither had the prometheus trailer.
I downloaded it in HD and watched it on a 60 inch LCD HDTV in 5.1 surround.
It was epic.
And since it was a 1080p vid, I went over every miniscule detail. Lots of tiny details that deserved to be noticed here.

That was pretty cool, a nice little reference to Ian Holm's character there.

It seemed more like a clip from the movie than it did a simple viral video.

This movie ? I want to make love to it.

Even more since it's going to be released into theaters on my birthday.

Guy Pearce doing his best Peter O' Toole, giving a speech that mentions T. E. lawrence.... Nice!
