I'm just repeating what good ol' Nolsey told me on the phone.

Are you accusing Christopher of drug use? This is a serious accusation, and I've heard that his lawyers are crazy.

Well, there's one cat out of the bag.

Here's another one, though it's nowhere near as vital and far more disappointing.

Well, it has pretty much been common knowledge since those pictures dropped, but having some proof is nice

It fucking sucks is what it is.

Now, I don't want to sound superstitious, but all these may be good signs !

A shitty teaser, an incoherent trailer, and the revelation of a bad name for a vehicle ? We may be getting an awesome movie indeed !

Kinda like good trailers = bad movies ? Just in reverse.

Because the "Batwing" was that much better? Who cares?

Only the trailers didn't suck, your opinion just does.

Would've been nice to have it tying (sp) into the comics, still, if it works well it can also become a trademark Bat-vehicle, so the jury is still out on this one.

"The Bat" isn't a great name, but you never know, we won't necessarily hear it in the film.

Pretty much, did we ever really hear "The Tumbler" ?

I don't remember. But yeah, "The Bat" is probably just for marketing purposes. Something they can put on a toy.

Battle Aviation Tumbler?

Lucius said it when the Tumbler was first introduced. I'd point out the Batpod as another example, but Alfred used the name of that one as well. ("In the middle of the day, Alfred? Not very subtle.")

I expect this will be a similar case. One throwaway mention of the name and it's just Batman's vehicle du jour from there on out.

Not a bad suggestion, but I think we can do better. Possibly something that doesn't describe the craft itself so much as what powers it (e.g. The "Twin Ion Engine" fighter).

I'm trying, but God help me, I can't get past "Alternating Thrust." Though "Turbine" could work as well, I suppose.

You just got an image in my head of the tumbler turning into The Bat at some point of the movie.

A little too over the top perhaps, but it would be really awesome.
