MD, just update your original post. You don't have to make a new post each time.

Why did you bold Moneyball when it didn't move?

On a date the weekend of the oscars a guy pointed out to me that I haven't seen any of the films nominated for best picture. That is the state of my 2011 in movies.

To those who want to see contagion, it was good but not great, and I probably won't see it again until it's free on cable.

I saw a film called Carnage that I loved and thought was well acted and funny as hell. But no one talks about it so it must have sucked

Carnage was indeed a very funny movie, though I thought it suffered for want of a proper ending.

A lot of people talked about it during awards season, and it racked up quite a few nominations from plenty of ceremonies that weren't the Oscars. However, I'm of the opinion that the cast worked as well as it did because the interplay between the four leads was airtight. Awarding any one of them, as opposed to awarding them all equally, just seems wrong to me.

I agree there was no true resolution. Which is probably why (assumingly) it worked much better as a play, in which you can do that sort of thing. Plus admittedly it felt like watching a play in theatres at times, but since I haven't had a chance to see it on stage (and very well may never) I didn't mind.
