The proper reaction to this film could really be:

But in itself, the movie is evidence that when you do something like this, something that EVERYONE KNOWS, and do it fucking right, you can't go wrong.

This is a great movie, that unfortunately reiterates a point said plenty of times before, but something so well done deserves a viewing.

If you have any tolerance at all for foreign movies, I HIGHLY recommend this film.

I hate the foreign.

Anyway,

Eh. If you're going to see this to see Liam Neeson fight wolves, don't.

Why ? I actually read somewhere it delivers precisely on that end.

Well, it has a lot of wolf stalking. There's not a whole ton of actual fighting, though.

The movie's more like *everyone being depressed about everything after they get in a plane crash until Liam Neeson leads them all to their deaths the end*

....Are you fucking kidding me?

I hope you are because everyone in the theater almost expected more and waited a little, but then we all eventually seemed to resign ourselves to the fact that there wasn't going to be any more and just left.

There was more, Ziller. The cliffhanger is resolved at the end of the credits. I swear I'm not kidding.

Well, damn.

Oh well, I'll see it eventually. My dad and friend are going to get a kick out of this.

Anuvahood, a pretty fun movie, it's got quite a low imdb rating, but I thought it was enjoyable enough, if you enjoyed Attack the Block, and you want to see a comedy based around kids of the same london estate culture, it's worth a look.

I love that adaptation of Frankenstien, I've never read the book, although I do have our on my Kindle, but it's just great as a movie.

I heard it was mediocre.

Depends on what you want from it, if you are expecting a Hammer or Universal creature feature, you aren't going to get it, if you want a well made, well cast and acted science fiction costume drama, then you'll get it.

I'm tempted to see it just to see if it does justice to the book. Because if it's neither a good creature feature nor a good adaptation of the book, I could probably see why people wouldn't like it.

I haven't read the book in several years, but from what I remember it is pretty accurate

Why would they do that? You're taking a gamble in hoping your audience would think to stick around until the end of the credits.

Because the solution isn't nearly as important as the cliffhanger. Thematically speaking, the important thing is that after all the circles of hell that Ottway has gone through, he still finds the strength to get up and fight.

But if that isn't enough for some moviegoers, then they get a little coda at the end of the credits to give them some closure.
