Anyways we could get a Solar vs. Jon fight, oh mighty Curi of Banhammeria?

From where I'm standing, we're actually in a debate as to who's more powerful between Solar, Manhattan, and The Saint. I'm tempted to start our first three-way fight, but it's hard enough to get enough voters on one side of a two-way fight. What say you?

P.S. We totally need to find a more worthy opponent for Gran'ma.

I thought we could save it for when there's more traffic on the site, with Before Watchmen and all, but I know it's a fucking long time 'till August hits.

I think Scott Pilgrim was the perfect opponent in that he was also from a black and white, independent comic book, and was as ridiculous a character as she was. If possible, I'd take it down a similar road again. Some potential competitors:

Raphael, TMNT - Image

Leonardo could also work, but I feel Raphael matches Gran'ma in terms of temperament.

Usagi YojimboImage

I'll be honest, I've never read any of those books, but I do know he shares a connection to TMNT, and the artist/author also worked on a Bone special. Seems like he would belong in that same world.

Cerebus The Aardvark - Image

A bit of a long shot, here. I know probably not too many are familiar with the character, but his creator, Dave Sim, did once challenge Jeff Smith to a fight.

Max - Sam & Max Image

Probably the craziest character on the list, and just the type of character Gran'ma would want to beat up.

I read a couple of pages of Bone like 4 years ago so I know nothing of gran'ma Ben beyond what you told us during the SP fight, but don't those two seem to... out class her a bit? They have both been highly trained in martial arts and would show up with weapons and know how to use them to the point of lethality.

Also, which version of Raphael are we using? The original comics had him as a beer drinking guy who swore a lot, while the original cartoon just had him as grumpy. Then there is the live action blend of those two Raphs, and the 2003 series which made him a little darker that the 87 Raph, but not back to the 84 Raph. Now current Raphael is closer to the original than the oprevious ones, but he's still in "Year One" mode so his training isn't to it's height yet.

Also, Reaganomics.

Yeah, those two don't wrestle giant tigers and armies of big-footesque men with razor sharp teeth.

No, but Raphael has fought interdimensional dinosaurs, countless mutants, and robots. Oh, and Raphael is a fucking ninja.

He's not an over grown turtle, he's a genetcally mutated turtle who has been trained in the ancient arts of martial arts. Also, just because she's toguh doesn't mean she's a good fighter, or a better fighter than Raphael.

Curi... want to ding the bell?

You know you pretty much just told me to argue this until I run out of breath, right?

You haven't read the source material you're arguing against, though.

We should send a disclaimer to relieve us of all acountability since you're going to asfixiate to death

We all know and love the ninja turtles man, but THE FOUR ninja turtles against Gran'Ma Ben ? No match, it's simply no match.

Just saw this... weren't you the one who was saying that The saint of Kilelrs could never beat Dr. M without having read any Preacher?

Like I said in the Bone thread, I'm upt to book 8 and I think we could start the Raphael vs. Rose Ben fight at any time now.
