(I do hope I post this right, figured that here it would be less inappropriated)
So I´m Sandy and became a Watchmen geek :geek: recently this year as I discovered the movie on Tv. I was totally mind blown by the characters and the plot, as I normally don´t like "superhero" movies. I became interessted, researched, read the comic and fell in love for the fandom. Really one of the best graphic novels of all the time. :D
I am still "learning" aout the fandom and like to read and hear as many fanboys and girls as possible!
So to my person: I´m Sandy, 23 years old, female, from Luxembourg, student.
Hobbies: reading, drawing, writing, surfing and researching about everything that interests me like Watchmen (of course! ), Star Wars, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean...
Fav. Watchmen charas: The Comedian, Rorschach, Adrian/Ozymandias (With Bubastis)

Welcome to the forum. It's always nice to meet new fans and hopefully even more will come on as the prequel's release dates get closer.

Incidentally, what's your take on the prequels if you know about them?

I do understand that some fans are really pissed over those news. I for myself are exited, especially for The Comedian one. I will try to get them and read them, after that I can really give an opinion. It has to suit the characters and the history of the Watchmen if it wants to earn my liking on it. That´s my point of view. ;)

Yeah, that's a pretty reasonable stance that I think the majority of us share.

Welcome! You seem very cool. I both applaud your support of The Comedian and secretly plot your death as I scribble my name and his in hearts in my Lisa Frank notebook during 4th period.

*hugs you then gives you the bitchy side eye as you walk away*

You had me at female. Welcome.

That's not a creepy welcome, right?

That's Malik. He can be a bit catty at times, but he's mostly harmless.

It only took three posts to completely derail the thread... is this a new record?

Oh come now, the thread hasn't been derailed. Besides, it's just an introduction type thread, we weren't having a deep conversation here. She'll have to get used to it if she wants to be a forum member.

Hello hello, everyone! Thanks for the nice welcoming! Ahhh a very fierce admirer of dear Eddie. ;) *hugs back* I think it´s hilarious. (to quote Eddie)
I´m from the Southern region of Luxembourg. South-West, near the Belgian and French border. Hope that was helpful. :D

This is getting embarrassing. I keep picturing you guys singing "a girl worth fighting for" from mulan. It hurts.

I'm expressing my angst in the form of Will Arnett yelling "COME ON".

You of all people should recognise angggssstttt.

True.

I still don't get the Luxembourg reference, though.
