nothing wrong with liking star trek, but bringing it up all of a sudden and using a LCARS theme a decade since Voyager went off the air seems a bit hipster-ish.

was it ever "cool", if something's not cool, thinking it is cool is ironic or whatever, and being ironically cool = being a hipster.

I'm not saying you're a hipster though, just that that one post made me think of hipsters.

well burning crosses and wearing white isn't inherently racist.

I don't know if you're high or just a fool. Wehn Roddenberry was alive Star trek remained awesome, it was only once he died and Berman took over that it became crappy. But TNG and DS9 are both on par with the original, and at times superior. And I'm a Star Wars fan as well, I like SW more than ST, but to Say Star Wars has gotten better and better as it's gotten removed from new hope is a statement one would expect to fidn on HIGHdeas, not a quality discussion site like our own.

i stumbled upon this pretty awesome and hilarious blog about black metal, and the most recent post is about a black metal group called Liturgy, who are mega-hipsters
