It's not just women, if Mal were talking about a guy the advice could be easily manipulated for that situation as well. Also, after mourning times... there are better girls that come along.

Remember, Ziller, she might be your "Summer" but near the end of th emovie you'll meet "Autumn"

I'm pretty sure the only advice I've given in this discussion was an "I love you," followed by a come hither look accompanied by a flash of my calves.

No, I was saying that I could give that advice to you, not that you gave the advice

Maybe I could hold auditions for a replacement Sierra. Or something.

Although this sounds like a fool proof plan... I would recommend against it.

What? When has an audition for girls ever been anything but a perfect plan?

On a serious note though, I do feel bad for you, man. Sometimes women are just vile (no offense to the woman who checks regularly) and as much as it hurts to think about... this won't be th elast time a girl runs over your heart, just realize that if they are willing to be that cold to you, they were enver worth the time of day in the first place.

Yeah, probably. Thanks, man.

Uuuuhhhm, yeah, that's not what I wish to ziller AT ALL

Though I can admit, that ending is pretty interpretative.

I never saw the movie but I read about the ending. JGL goes from Zooey Deschanel to Minka Kelly. He traded up, in my opinion

Neither will I :)

I always interpreted the end as being that JGL HAS to go through all of it again, as one must in love !

I watched Charlie's Angels. Minka Kelly is a *terrible* actress. That is definitely not a trade up if you find talent or intelligence sexy, as I do.

Gonna be honest with you, Mal. Acting ability plays absolutely no role for me in finding someone attractive.

For not liking Zooey Deschanel? What does it for you? Her contrived, dowdy, "vintage" fashion sense? Her monotone voice? Her twee, goofy bullshit persona? She plays the ukulele, for fuck sake. I just find her way too grating to be sexy.

Surely you won't look at acting ability for attractiveness, but you sure as shit look at other, very irrelevant shit

Uh, all of that is relevant if it's who she is.

I don't have sex with a woman's clothes, neither do I kiss her "goofy bullshit persona" or touch her ukelele (the instrument) you know ?

I mean, maybe the voice is a point of contention, but hers is actually quite low, and some people find that sexy.

Well neither do I, but these are things that specifically bug me about her. Especially when people think she's this really attractive woman, which I just don't get. I mention her clothing because she often looks contrived and calculated and I'm not really turned on by the bobby soxer from the 50's look. I know she isn't her clothes, but I would imagine most people notice what a person is wearing at least on some level. I'd also say her persona is kind of important to mention, since she's the one who created it. She just strikes me as being insincere, like she is purposefully trying to come off as quirky and I can't help but wonder who she is trying to appeal to? I wouldn't be surprised if she had more female fans than male fans.
