Is it bad that all I can icture is you taking a sip of beer and going "it's yucky" like Scott Pilgrim?

Actually, I only had one sip.

And it was yucky.

Was it beer?

Yeah, it was some type of flavored beer. My tasting it was actually incidental anyway, since the only reason I did was because a friend asked me to try it. But yeah, it wasn't very good. I'm probably just not used to beer.

Try Stella Artois. Hands down my favorite beer. You'll absolutely hate it.

Stella Artois, bleh, and yeah ziller would hate it, it's way too strong. Have you ever tried Leffe Mal?

Anyway it took me a while to get the taste of beer, I spent a lot of money on rum and coke when I was starting drinking.

Normal people = Hate beer first time they try it.

You should try different flavors and see IF there's any you like, a lot of people say they hate beer, but in reality they hate "Pilsen" type beer, popular in Latin America, but much more bitter than other more european "Lager" beers like Heineken. In fact, you should try Heineken to properly asses your taste in beer.

No, we will not let you be Scott Pilgrim.

My cousin graduated from Notre Dame. She told me once that nobody likes beer, it's just something you get acclimated to after so many rounds of beer pong.

Myself, I can't stand beer either. This is especially shameful, considering that we Portlanders pride ourselves on our abundant microbrews.

No wonder you like Scott Pilgrim so much

Though your cousin pretty much gets it, if it wasn't for the social aspect, beer wouldn't be where it is today.

Just got home at 5am. Went to a bar, then my sister's play, then another bar, then another bar. Then some of my friends got in an argument and left. While they were arguing I got in a conversation with a woman who was half Japanese and a guy named jack who claimed to be 25 (he was 17). This turned into a discussion about a 4 way with president Obama until the woman decided we were too young for her. Then another young woman came by with her friends, seeking a Pakistani man who stole her phone because he wasn't interested. She called me an asshole repeatedly but before I knew it she told me she loved me and her friend who is apparently Penelope Cruz' cousin told me I was her best friend. My friend, jack, and I were enlisted to beat the Pakistani man's ass. We are joined by 3 bisexual dudes (all of these people save myself and my friend are under 21 BTW) and halfway there the girls hop a cab and leave us, even though jack and Penelope'w cousin have been making out for an hour. It turns put penelope's cousin is an ex of one of the bi guys who is dating one of the other guys hes with. We wind up drinking beer in public at 4am and he starts calling me cutiepie and kissing me in front of his exhausted date.

My friend and I are supposed to hang with them again tomorrow night.

The whole night I had no idea where my life was going. I was just along for the ride and had to share.

Except it actually is, most people don't find beer to be tasty at the first try, and why the hell would anyone ? We are used to sugar-based drinks all the way until we reach adolescence, it could only be normal to try beer at first and not like it.

My problem with this is that there are so many different types of beer. Like I dislike PBR, but Milwaukee's Best is good.

Naturally, every single drink has variations, but overall, the bitter, "bready", taste of beer is universal.

Could always mix it with lemonade our lime cordial to cover up the "beer" taste, and stil become accustomed to it,

As long as she's a woman now, I don't really care what she was born as, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck....
I've seen some awful transexuals in my life, but she ain't one of 'em. she shouldn't have ben disqualified as far as I'm concerned.
