My blog has a new redesign!

There's also a new clapboard gimmick, links to my Facebook and Twitter pages, a much more streamlined way to share pages on social networking sites, and a snazzy new banner by our own NiteOwl.

I'm still trying to tweak the colors, though. Any advice on that?

The yellow is what seems off I think. I wouldn't know what to replace it with though.

Yellow, huh? I was actually trying to give the blog a hint of brown, since that seemed to work so well last time. Maybe if I split it down the middle and went for a rust color, it might work.

Oh, and thanks again for the banner.

EDIT: There. Just changed things around so the unclicked links are a reddish rust, while the clicked ones are a deep brown.

I thought about putting this in the troubles and shit thread, but it's not a big deal, but uh, I need a little help with a homework. Not even my editor friends have been able to help me out. But I have to write two reviews for a class and I've turned in drafts and my professors says that they are not in the correct format because the margins are not one inch. So I was wondering if somebody could format them correctly or tell me how to do it. I used the page set up option in Word and I set it up correctly to the equivalent of one inch in the metric system (2.54cm) and I had thought that my mistake had been putting all margins that way, but it turns out that even only putting the 2.54 cm margin on the right and left side, doesn't change much. So if anybody could help out, it'd be appreciated. Especially anyone who can actually put in one inch margins in Word documents.

That's weird, it seems like that'd be an easy thing to do. All I do in mine is go to Margins and then click the first option, "Normal".

Do you have Word 2007 or something else?

Maybe you should use Google to figure it out. That's what I usually do when I'm having trouble with Word or some other computer application.

in other news, I ate my first "salad" over the weekend. it was ok.

Dropped a 20 onto a slot machine, turned into 200. Shopped that 200 around till I eventually turned it into 800.

Turned that 800 into 850 and then lost 150 I cut my losses.

Salads are good as shit. Salads helped me lose 30 pounds since last year.

Mmmmm. Food/weight loss/money.

to be fair the salad was probably 50% bacon weight for weight, and had quite a lot of olive oil dressing, but I never thought I'd find a vegetable I liked raw, let alone 2 (avocado and spinach), I generally don't like vegetables cooked!
I weigh about 200lbs, so I probably should lose some weight.
