This could be because your problems with him are recent, while mine date back quite some time. I know I don't speak for anybody but myself with my comments, but I stand by them fully.

I had fights of my own with AYB less than a week ago on the Mass Effect thread, those fights were hard, lots of name-calling, tons of back and forth, no mercy whatsoever, we disagreed...............intensely.

But I never would've wanted him to leave after so much time here, and certainly not for something as unbelieavably petty as to what you're complaining about.

I wasn't actively hoping he'd go, but I'm not upset that he's gone. Like you said, this is an incredibly stupid and petty reason to go out and end a run almost as long as the forum itself that included him being the to poster here for a few years. I do feel bad that I haven't liked AYB for so long, because I used to really enjoy reading his posts and talking to him... but what's done is done.
