I'm going to take those with a grain of salt. It's primarily because, well, people did say those other films were good.....

Having said that, I do have a bit more confidence in this one since Whedon is helming it, so hopefully it captures the charm and fun that the original Iron Man had.

theres a bunch of stuff you might not want to know on a superherohype thread here, i've been reading it, it gets a little spoilery after page 5, and then there are some doozies on page 11.

I wonder what the scene after the credits is.

*Super Nick Fury enters the room*

Super Nick Fury: You think you're the only superhero team in the world?

Who thinks that man could be played by Michael Clarke Duncan?

For a second I thought that said Michael Cera.

And then I felt shame knowing my interest in the sequel would rise exponentially.

I'd prefer if they didn't have an actor and instead got a voice actor. He's going to be CGI, we all know that much so why not get a voice actor and not go with the easiest casting in Hollywood (i.e. Michael Clarke Duncan voicing a deep voiced character)

About fucking time they started using the Banner actor for Hulk´s face mo-cap...

And here´s to me hoping that they ditched the mute wrecking ball idea from TIH and gave him some lines to show that he has a personality, as basic as it might be...

how do you picture a sound?

edit: ok ok, here is a really weird rumour
http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/ ... s/?a=57839

apparently Ruffalo and Downey filmed a new scene last night,
also Edgar Wright has recently got back behind the camera (possibly unrelated) but current speculation is that Wright is filming a Marvel One shot to introduce The Avengers' primary scientist, Hank Pym, which would explain why The Avenger's other primary scientists have also been filmed in character.

also new stills http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/ ... s/?a=57826

Just bear with me... Mark Hamill

Watch this clip and when the Spectre shows up close your eyes and picture Thanos.

Or, a little more obvious of a choice... Although that would disrupt my Namor casting...

That being said I'm like 97% sure MCD will get the role.

I think he should be made using the same technology as the Hulk.
idk if thats CGI or whatever, but if they're using physical reference, they should cast MCD.
Maybe even tweak his voice like they did with Fishburne and the silver surfer.
