NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!

Tech Armor.........................................has been nerfed

What the fuck Bioware ?

Doesn't explode when enemies shoot at it ? Has to be manually detonated ? Explosion range doesn't go beyond four meters ? 80% SLOWER POWER USAGE ?

Fucking multiplayer, it's clear they had to balance the thing, but goddamnit it was such an awesome power.

I guess I can either go for a "tank-style" kind of playthrough or a more multi-powered one without tech armor and full fitness.

What do you guys say ? Can anyone make any recommendations ? I would seriously be grateful if there's any sentinel help anyone can bring.

I don't know man, even neutral options were still OPTIONS, it's just not right for an RPG game to have almost 80% of it's dialogue be automated. Am I even correct in assuming the "investigate" option is no longer in the game ?

Still, it was probably the only thing I disliked from the demo, everything it else was impressive.

First of, don´t take stuff to the wrong places. The multiplayer is co-op, players vs AI,so balance is a moot point. On top of that, on MP we can only carry two weapons. MP is not the reason for this overhaul of powers, it´s Bioware.

That being said, yeah, there has been some serious nerfing through the weight system and heavy duty defense powers. Soldier has been seriously nerfed when it comes to using the best weapons(the heavier weapons) and have some decent cooldowns for Adrenaline Rush and Concussive Shot. On top of that protective powers like Barrier, Fortification and many others like them have been given serious drawbacks...

As to help when it comes to spec your sentinel, and other classses, check this out:

http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Sentin ... s_Effect_3)

As to the dialogue, the neutral options were either paragon or renegade options with a even split when it comes to points. Good riddance...

Investigate is still very much in the game. On the other hand, I don´t really see how you came with that 80% argument.Yeah, there are less control points, but they still exist.

As to what AYB said, the Earth level in the full game is just like the demo. Surkesh on the other side is bigger.

Closing statement:if you loved the demo, your head will asplode when you play the whole game.

It's obviously Bioware's fault, but the inclusion of multiplayer also forced the classes to be balanced, I know it's against AI, but some classes would've fared better than others against the enemies if they had been kept exactly like ME 2.

Can you imagine how the Adept and Vanguard classes would do against AI enemies if they had been kept as they were in ME 2 ? They would've paled in humilliatory defeat next to the Sentinels and Soldiers.

Dude, if the Earth scene at the beginning is anything like the demo, then at least 80% was automatically pre-determined, you barely get three, if not four, dialog wheels in the entire conversations with Anderson and the admirals.

I think it will sir :D !

Also, one last question, is it possible to map powers to the Y button ? or does that shit stay locked to the class power :( ?

Dude, the multiplayer suffers from a serious inbalance when it comes to the classes. The new Vanguard is a fucking beast on SP, and on multiplayer it´s even more godlike.I would dare say that it´s Human Vanguard and then the rest. A human soldier is also beastly, but not in the same league as the Vanguard. Honestly, check it out and then you´ll see that you were basing your assumptions on bad info...

As to the Earth level, it was pretty straightforward, action heavy/plot thin, so not a lot of dialogue to control. Honestly don´t take as hard evidence of the control system.

And good news, all buttons are customizable.

:o ! Well, I'll try if I can, to check out the changes on the classes in the demos, not sure if I'll be able to play Multiplayer any time soon.

Went through the demo again yesterday, feel like I'll have some troubles on the defense end, and I don't think I'll be able to max fitness since offensive mastery seems like a better bet for my playstyle, but I did okay and didn't die once on normal, so hopefully I won't have too much trouble once I play the game plain and straight !

So, thy patch was installed succesfully, and thy Shepard's face translated............fairly well. Graphics are different, better in most cases, that's a fact, and I can understand my Shepard is really never going to look the same, so I think I can handle his face just fine.

Anyways, I just left my playthrough on Menae.......

OH LAWRD

So much awesomesauce in this game :D !

My only minor complaint so far (apart from the almost nonexistant lighting ) is the space exploration system, it seems like a downgrade from the one in Mass Effect 2, it doesn't feel as if you're really.............exploring ? In any case it's understandable, there's a sense of urgency coming from the state of the galaxy which doesn't leave the mood for peaceful, tranquil space travel.

Also, I must say, if it wasn't for Javik's awesomeness, I would've felt ripped off at the "From Ashes" DLC.

I still do , but at least it has SOME worth to it's price, a lot of people have already told me to bring him to Thessia, and I sure as shit will, I'm a little tired of carrying Liara and James around for EVERY mission, maybe I had to visit the Citadel before going to Menae to pick up Ashley :o ?

So the beast has been tamed when it comes to the face import issue?

And if you like Menae, later on in the game, shit gets even better.

As to the exploring, after the complaints from the exploring on ME2, they acted acordingly.I personally never had any issues with exploring/mining on ME2. Just dedicated a couple of hours just to mining in the very start of my files, and never had any more big needs.

And From Ashes isn´t really worth the 800 points. It´s interesting, but for that kind of money, it´s not vital. But yeah, Javik is jawesome...

As to the squadmate issue you point out, I presume that by now you have already meet the new Six?

And don´t worry with Ash, when the time to bring her along comes, you will know.Just don´t expect it in the forseable future.

Just some friendly advise:

-scanvenge the shit out of each level. fetch quests objectives sometimes are in side missions,N7 missions, on top of guns and mods in both priority and side missions . That way you avoid spending money later on.

-side quests apart, do missions as they appear. some missions will dissapear if you don´t do them in a certain period on acount of the invasion.

It has indeed  ! It's still a frustrating fuck-up, I can't imagine what it most've been like for people who waited for a midnight release of the game, went back home, and had that show up on their screen

One planet per cluster = Resource Master :D

I just think everything seems a little simplified, on the good side though, I've noticed the descriptions for the planets have changed according to the Reaper Invasion, great decision since I'm familiar with the former entries of those planets !

I think so, it's pretty similar to ME 1 where almost everyone is in the citadel, here it's just...........Mars.

Speaking of Mars, I'm SO glad I dropped Liara as a romance, her character is just nonsensical when compared to ME 1

I must be misunderstanding, you mean the "Priority" missions dissapear ? Not the side missions ?

How the hell are those missions going to dissapear  ?

Bro,I was talking about Tricia

And yeah, priority missions never disappear(and I think that the N7 missions don´t dissapear too). The priority missions are the ones that make the story go forward.Do these always last because they will never go away.

The side missions are really awesome in the sense that they fit in the bigger picture and show us some familiar faces. That being said, they can be failed if you don´t do it in a specific timetable, and the results are harsh.

Then we have the run of the mill fetch quests. They are harder because of the Reaper pursuit system, but are really useful to get us more reputation and credits...

ASHLEY IS BLACK  ?

My life is a lie.

Also, next to "Suicide Mission" and "Normandy Reborn", that background theme has got to be one of my favorite Mass Effect pieces, it's just beautiful.
