Enjoy! I'm not looking at any of the prequel shit.

Don't want these shitty images popping into my head when I'm reading the stand alone novel.

Thank you.
If you don't want anything to do with the prequels, the hype they're going to generate with those of us who ARE excited,
why don't you set up a "anti-prequels" thread and stop spamming THIS thread with the same damn thing over and over.
WE KNOW you're not going to look.
WE KNOW you're not going to read them.
WE KNOW!
OKAY?

We GET IT.

All you folks looking forward to the prequels, will you please stop posting about them

We know you're excited about them. WE GET IT! All right, we've read all the posts here in this thread. WE GET IT ALL RIGHT!

Same difference.

Not really, man.

Anyway, here are some pretty cool variant covers for Nite Owl #1.

Thank you for being mature.

It's just that you keep coming to this particular thread posting how you dislike the prequels... after awhile of you just saying the same few negative remarks it's starting to get old.

Not loving any of this cover art. The Comedian cover looks like average fan art. It all looks like standard comic fare. I wish these covers were more complex visually and deep with metaphor and irony (Sandman anyone?). Bleh.

I'm gonna have to go with DDC on this one, at least they could incorporate more smiley face.

Nothing like this cover art to remind us of how much thought and care went into the covers of the original comic series.

I dunno, these are pretty good covers. The originals were pretty elegant in their simplicity, but even though these are different, they're still pretty fantastic looking.

Your standards of art are precise but you are misguided in manner. You can ignore them but not paying attention to the prequel information in this thread. He can't ignore you as easily because he uses this thread for it's intended purpose. Prequel combating is noble and just, but it belongs in a separate thread.

Thank you sir...
I can respect your pristine and shiny logic.

Give me Kevin Nowlan's Nite Owl ANYTIME.
...his Rorschach's pretty bad, but hey, I love Nowlan.

So far, Amanda Conner: good. Jae Lee: Irregular. Lee Bermejo: meh. Cooke: REALLY good.
I'm really looking forward to see what Hughes has done with our good Doctor.
