Dude... you went from 0 to Dick in like 2 posts, it wasn't really THAT outlandish of a request, and nobody was accusing you of anything... relax, Ziller, relax
It's not the first time he's/she's bothered me about this and it's just really annoying.
Just the way you snapped was a tad OOC for you, coming from me it'd make sense, but not from you.
Well, I tried to be nice the first time he nagged me about it, but he just keeps coming back for more. I'll try to put the links going back to the artist under the picture the next time I post a piece of art
if I remember. I'll try, but I also reserve the right not to give a damn. This is the internet and people post each other's work all the time without giving credit to the original source. As long as you're not claiming it as your own, it's really not a big deal and if someone wanted to, they could head on over to google and easily find the artist themselves.
Rude. This is such a small matter that it really shouldn't be a flamewar. Reposting fanart without credit is bad behavior. Simple as that. So stop.
Also here's my quote from the last thread where I politely asked you to cite sources: "Edit: Oh my god. Doctor Manxhattan. Nice find! You should really cite your sources to give the original creator credit (found a link:
http://jasonbot.com/?cat=28)."
Not nagging at all. I even did it
for you! Also just because you say it's common practice on the internet doesn't make it an okay thing to do, obviously. Logical fallacy in the house, everybody say he
ee
ey. Also on the subject of authorship, I want to point out that in the previous thread the image you copy pasted was preceded by the following quote: "I've got an idea" Now doesn't that seem to imply something? Why yes, it does. And never mind that fact that this image was used to improve the overall content of a thread
you created. Sounds like the creator was really doing you a favor.
